The foanoil met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Miller,presid-
ing, Counoilmen, Bollmen ,Kimbrough,Mnmford,0akes, Rowland, and Westoott present.
Sam Averill asked to be permitted to put a ditch in the center of the block in which
he lives.It Was voted on motion of westoott, seconded by Mcmford, that the matter be refer-
red to City Engineer and Irrigation Oommittee with power to not.
The City Clerk,in answer to Mayor Miller's question arevthere any objections to the
creating Local Lateral Sewer Improvement District No.10, stated that there were none.
Bill 3o.17,entlUed Aln Ordinance creating and establishing a local improvement
district to be called -Local Lateral Sewer Improvement District 90.10 ^ in the City Of
CaldW*U,Oounty of Canyon, State of Idaho, for the purpose of constructing a suitable sewer
system therein,fixing the specific boundaries of *add district, the general character of
the said proposed improvement, and the estimated cost of the same, and providing for such
cost to be assessed against all the property included within such,improsement distriot,end
providing that the costs and expense of said sewer improvement made ig t4e spaces f9rmed
by the junctions and intersections of streets and avenues, and in the spaces opposite alleys
in each district, shall be borne by the proerty &butting,frouting,contiguous, or oontrib-
utary to said intersections and shall be a lien upon said property the same as any other

The following was made by the Committee on Investigation on the bide for the

To the Mayor and City Counoil,of the Oity of Caldwell,
Gentlemen:
Your committee appointed to investigate and report on the bids submitted for
the construction of the sewer improvement, in Local Lateral Sewer Improvement District
30.10. respectfully submit the following report:
The bids abd responsibility of the bidders submitting proposals for the oonetraot-
Son of the improvement in Local Lateral Sewer Improvement District No.10, were invest -
igated by your committee, and it has been determined by the committee that the bid
Hartenbower Bros. is the lowest responsible and beet bid submitted.It is also further
j found,
that no material saving can probably be made by the oonstraoyion of said improve-
ment by force avoount.•
It Is thereforerespectfully submitted that it is the manes of your oommittes that it

is for the beat interest of the property owners anditaxpayers within said Looal °Lateral
Sewer Improvement District No.10, that the proposal of Hartenbower Bros. for the construct
ion of said improvement be accepted and a contract executed accordingly.
