Yr.C.D.Rush, Building Inspector gave a report on the plumbing which A.F. Nagele had installed. The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the ity•Ball, with the Mayor Edgar L. Oakes, presiding. On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present; W.E.Babcock, C. 0. Me- ennel, Oscar Stengel, W.B, Handford, G. M. Fenrich, M.S. Sandmeyer. The Minutes of May 6th., were read and approved as read. Mr. Jack Thorne appeared b afore the Mayor and Council and requested the City to it Fillmore Street between 18th and 19th Streets. This matter was referred to the City igneer and the Road Committee, Mrs. Gilgan- Sarchett requested the parking places recently marked in front of j her proerty on South 7th., Street be removed. This matter was referred to the Road Com- ttee. Mr.Floyd Southward appeared and informed the Mayor and Council that the Chambef of Commerce wished to present roses to the passengers on the East and West Bound Trains, June 6th. Mr. Southward asked if the roses could be supplied b„ the Municipal Rose Garden. T his * m tter was referred to Mr. Beatty. Mr.Rush, Building Inspector read a report from the Zoning Board regarding the stock in A & B Residence Zone. The ,City Clerk read a letter from Mr. Dean Miller tendering his reeitnation from the ZONING BOARD. The Bills for May were read and on motion by Babcock, seconded by Handford that these bills be allowed and warrants be ordered drawn for the various amounts all of which had been approved by the Chfirman of the Finance Committee.
