Resolutions ;; & 778 were presented and np021 motion of Rumford, seconded by lfi:nbrou @h, it was voted tiat the same be adopted as follows: Resolution ;$7; 77herens, an applicationi has bee_ made to the aayor and City Council of Caldaell,Ida o, by Caldwell Elks Lodge No.1448 B.P.O.E. for the said City of Cal'vrell, to set aside for the use of said Lodge ill of Block Fifty -five of the City Cem6tery, save and ezee_t Lots one to five off said block,, heretofore set aside, and, 'here s, said Block had heretofore by Resolution be !n set aside and dedicated for burial purposes o the members of filaternal organiztaions, and the price of lots herein has been established at Forty Do la eseach, ?:ew, herefore, be it resolved that the application of Caldwell milks Lodge No.1448 B.P.O.E. for the pu hase of all of 3loek fifty- five, save and except lots one to five be accepted and the Mayor a d City Clerk be authvvized and directed to e::ecute a certificate of conveyance thereof Upon receip of the purchase price in conf)rmity with Ordinanee Ido.211 of the City of Caldwell Resolution ITo.B l°ihersas the I aldwell n'orwardo Club has secured and planted in Curtis Park twenty five shade trees, and, - 1hereas, the Caldwell bursaries, Under the management of Mr-Chas. T. ° awkes, has donated to the City of Cal well a like uiunber of shade trees, and same have finder the direction of the Caldwell Forward Clu been likewise planted in Curtis Park, and, 71hereas, burtis Park was much in need of said improvement, and the said trees so planted will add much to the naturdl beauty and usefullnes- of said Park, Now, Thor fore, be it resolved by the ]'ayor and City Oou.,oil of the City of Caldwell,Idaho, that the sa d officials for and on beh&lf og the said City accept said trees, and by this resolution express to he Caldwell Forward Club and to LIr.Chas. T.Hawkes the grateful appreciation of the City of Caldwell and that a copy of this Pesolution be spin ad upon the minutes of the Council Proceedings and a copy hereof be forwarded to the said Caldwell For::ard Club, and a copy to 11r.
