M. i i F I 1h1IL./i. � The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgment of notice in the following form: - CALL AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the Council Chambers; in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 8:00 P. M. on the 15th day of April, 1953 for the transaction of allbusiness in connection with the following object: Discussion on bond issue for City Hall and Fire Department, which object was submitted to each of the undersigned in writing. WITNESS our signatures this 15th, day of April 1953. /] C Mayor Mayor Jason C. Smith, presiding. Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered presents Fran Blomquist, L. E. Burrell, John E,rers, Ernest Weick, Dale Fenrich and J. M. Bettis. The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called to meet with Martin Olsen and discuss the proposed bond issue for the construction of a City Hall and Fire Station. This matter was thoroughly discussed b4 no action was taken. Mr. I. R. Nicol was present and discussed with the Mayor and Council the renewal of his,contract with the City for hauling garbage. No action was taken at this time. There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Fenrich, seconded by Blomquist that Council adjourn. Motion carried. Mayor. Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Fran Blomquist, L. h.Burrell, John Myers, Ernest Weick, Dale Fenrich and J. M. Bettis. Application for Pool License was read from The Waldorf Cigar Store, the fee accompanying the ap— plication. Moved by Blomquist, seconded by Burrell that this License be granted. • Upon Roll C it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. Sao Applications for Card Licenses were readfrom Wilson Beer & Lunch and Waldorf Cigar Store, the fee accompanying each application. Moved by Blomquist, seconded by Burrell that these Licenses be granted. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. The Bills for April were read and on motion by Blomquist, seconded by Myers that these Bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the various amounts all of which had beenapproved by the Finance Committee.
