' The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room of the
City.Hall, with the Mayor, H. R. McCluskey presiding.
On Roll Call the following Councilman answered present: Thurlow Bryant, Wilbur
Dakan, F.E. Newman, Floyd Blunt, R.E. Fresher and C. 0. McDannel.
The Minutes of April 6th., were read and approved as read.
Mr. S. i, Smith appeared before the Mayor and Council and stated that his.propertl
in Fairacres had never been platted but the Pioneer Irrigation District assessed this propel
the same as platted lots. Mr. Smith requested that this property be assessed on an acerage
basis. This matter was referred to the Irrigation Committee.
Mr. Carl Kitchen of Boise presented a plan for codifying the,Ordinances o, f-the C1
at a coat of $500.
The Mayor informed Mr. Kitchen that this ratter would be' taken under cdnsideratlo
The Bills for April were read and on motion by Bryant,seoonded by Dakan that
these Bills be allowed and Warrants be ordered drawn for the Various amounts all of which
and b eon approved by the Chairman of the Finance Committee. Mott - n carried.

Pursuant to adjournment of the ajouined of May 11th., the Council met
in the Council Room Width the Mayor, H.E. Mc presiding,
On Roll Bell the following Councilmen answered present; Thnrlow Bryant, Wilber
Dakan, E.E,Frasher, Fred E. Newman, C. 0. McDannel. Absent: Floyd Blunt.
The Council proceeded to consider the annual Appropriation bill.
WHEREUPON, Councilman Bryant, presented the following R and moved the
adoption thereof, which motion was duly seconded by Councilma n McDannel:
BE IT RESOLVED, That the following is an estimate of the expenditures of the
City of Caldwell for the fiscal year 1942 -1943, and that the following be, and Is herebp
