Present Bollman, Kimbrough, Mumford, Oakes, Rowland and 7estcott. The letter from out going mayor Grant Ward,to incoming Mayor Amos J. Miller was read. Motion by Westoott seconded by Oakes Council adjourned to Clay 4, 1921. Attest; D r City Clerk. _ Ilayor Council Chambers Key 4, 1921. Council met in regular session, Mayor 1,1iller presiding. Present Bollman Kimbrough, Mumford, Oakes, Rowland and Westoott. Mayor Miller appointed chairman of committees as follows; Rowland, Sewer, Irrigation, and Drainege. Westoott, Roads. Mumford, Finance. Kimbrough; Fire department, and Cite Fall. Oakes, Park and-Cemetery. Bollman, Water Works. Westcott brought out the fact that the date of action for protest made by the Boise Valley Traction Company against the Sprinkling for the year of 1920 would expire on Hay 15, 1921. H. E. Dalton renresentative of th^ 'Traction Company wished to know what the City was going to do about the same. Motion by Kimbrough seconded by Rowland that this matter be referred to the City Attorney and chairman of the street committee with power to act. Ayes; Bollman, Kimbrough, Mumford, Oakes. Rowland and Westoott. Hayes; None. Notion by Weatcott seconded by Bollman, that the City call for Sprinkling.per man and team per hour. Ayes; Bollman, Kimbrough, B,iumford, Oakes, Rowland and 7dost3ott. Hayes; None. Motion by Kimbrough seconded by Llumford I:layor appoint committee of three on salari6B and combination. Blunt, President of the Commercial Club asked for support in obtaining a parking place for farmers teams. Llayor appointed Committee of Rowland Bollman, and Kimbrough. Howard Snell presented aprllcation for audit of books of city. Motion by Westoott seconded by Kimbrough Mayor appoint two members of Council and City Attorney to confer with Pioneer Irrigation Ditch Company about taking over water inside of the City limits. Ayes; Bollman, Kimbrough, 11umford, Oakes, Rowland, and Westoott. Nayes, None. Mayor appointed Westoott and Oakes on the Com ittee. The Huree and American Theaters presented a petition +,o :the City Council asking to permit Theaters and Motion Picture Shows to remain open on Sundays and requested the City Corr.atl to nags an Ordinance to That effect. Motion by Oakes see by Rowland that the petition be placed on file and a Committee of three be appointed to investigate legal preceding$ of same.
