COUNCIL CHAMBERS CALDWELL. MAY 4, 1920. Counoil. met in eegular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Ward presiding, The following Councilmen were present; Dunlap Fouling Heyman Moore and Sutton. ORDINANCE No 340 ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE FUNDING WARRANT INDEBETDNESS was read the first time motiom w4sq made by Dunlap and seconded by Moore that the rule requiring the reading of an ordinance on three secerate dates be suspended and that the ordinance be read the second time by title and the third time in full and planed on its final passage, on the roll being called the vote was; Ayes Dunlap, Fouling Hayman Moore and Sutton Absent Dickens. The clerk thereupon read the said ordinance the second time by title and the third time in Yell and on the roll being called on the motion shall Ordinance No 340 pass the vote was; Ayes, Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Moore and Sutton. Absent, Diokehs The Mayor announced that the motion had carried and the clerk was instructed to, make proper entry and cause same to be published in the Caldwell Newe, the official Newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho. The following were appointed officials for Bond Election to be held June 1 . 1920. FIRST WARD. Mrs ED Miller. Registrar. Rif P1111"I Motion made by Sutton and seconded by Fouling that the City Engineer make measurements and surveys preparatory to establishing permanent width of Indian Creek. 2680lutions No 1 and 2 by Dickens was presented; A resolution condemning old sidwwa4 and the constructing of new walk and on motion ;i�ft Hayman seconded by Sutton was unanamouely adopted. The matter of pipe for the Cemetery was referred to the Cam. Com- mittee wdth power to act. On motion Moore seoonded by Sutton the City Attorney was Instructed to prepare ordinance creating X¢0991AXA# curbing district to include the following streets; Albany 8, to 14. Belmont 7, to 14. Chicago 7, to 14. Denver 7, to 14. On motion Dunlap seconded by Fouling the C Engineer was Instructed to secure estimates for curbing on Dearborn Streets from 20th, to Poynter Avenue. Clerk was instructed to have published call for bids for the construction of Sewers in Districts No 7 and 8. There being no further business Council adjourned to May 17. i N11 9tteHt; C er c. COUNCIL CHAMBERS MAY 17. 1920 Council met pursuant to adjournment with H H Rayman president of the council acting Mayor The following Councilmen were present; Dickens, Dunlap Ftlulimgh Moore and Sutton. W L Hasbrouck appeared before the Council protesting against the grade on South Kimball and on motion Sutton seconded by Dunlap the Mayor appointed Street Committee to investigate. Mr 0 W Kendall representing the Union Metal Co presented a prop- osition for Cluster Ligting and on motion Dunlap seconded by Sutton same was taken undre advisement by the Council. Roy Nelson made a proposition to sell the City a hock Crusher and on motion Sutton seconded by Fouling the Mayor appointed a committee Of threes consisting of Dickens, Sutton and Dunlap to investigate with power to purchase. Bids for the construction of Sewers Ido 7 and a were opened with the following results; Caldwell P & Htg Co. No. 7. 021661.00 No 8. 5004.30 Helmer and Davie Ido 7. 25582.00 11 11 " no B. 6092.00
