COUNCIL CAMBERS,
MAY 2nd., 1941,
8:00 P.M.",
The City Council met on Call of the Mayor, with the Mayor , Edgar L. Oakes pre-
siding.
On Roil Call the following Councilmen answered present: W.E.BaFcoek, Oscexi
Stengel, W.B. Handford, G. M. Fenrich and M.S,Sandmeyer.
The Mayor informed the Council that the meeting was called to meet wibh the
Directors of the Pioneer Irrigation District to.dieauss the 0ontract betwaeri the Pi der
Irrigatiom Distridt and the City of Caldwell.
After a discussion of the Contract the matter was left on the table.
Mr. C.L.fiush stated that the McNeal Lbr. Co., had made application for ®'Bu11d-
ing Permit for the College of Idaho Gymnasium - Science Building.
Moved by Handford, seconded by Babcock that this permit be Issued and a fete of
61;00 charged. Motion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved byl
Sandmeyer, seconded by McDannel that Council adjourn. Motion carried.

On Roll Call the following Councilman answered present: W.E. Babcock, C. 0,
McDannel, Oscar Stengel, W.B. Handford, G. M. Fenrich and M.S. Sandmeyer.
The Minutes of April 7th, 8th., 28th., and May 2nd „ were read and approved, as
reed.
The Directors of the Pioneer Irrigation District were present and presented a
Contract,to the Mayor and Council, to be entered into between the Pioneer Irrigation
District, a corporation, and the City of Caldwell, Idaho, a municipal corporation,
Thereupon the following Resolutinn was presented to the Mayor and Council by
Councilmah Fenrich, who moved the adoption thereof, which motion was duly "seconded by
Councilman McDannel.

AND MAKING SAID CHAPTER 248 A PART OF THIS RESOLUTION BY REFERENCE THERETO; FOR CONTRACTING
