in full on three separate meetings. And Ordinance was read the second time by title,
third time in full and placed on its final passage. On motion the vote was as follows
"Ayes" - Joseph Dickens, A. J. Miller, F. R. Miller, , Charles Sanberg,
and W. Grant Ward. Those voting "No" - Mitohell.Bill No. 34 was then read the
second time by title and the third time in full and. on its final passage.
On the question "Shall Bill No. 34 pass ?" the vote was as follows; Those voting
"Yes" - Joseph Dickens, A. J. Miller, EhaPles`Sanberg. Those voting "Not' - Prod
Mitchell, F. R. Miller, W. Grant Ward. And Bill No. 34 having failed to receive
the required two- thirds majority failed to pass.
Bill No. 33 by Mitchell, amended Fire Ordinance was read the third time
and placed on its final passage. On motion "Shall Bill No. 33 pass ?" the vote was
as follows; Those voting "Yes" - J. Dickens, A. J. Miller, F. R. Miller, Charles
Sanberg, and W. Grant Ward. Those voting "No" - none. And so Bill No. 33 be-
came Ordinance No. 317. On motion Councilman F. R. Miller the Mayor was authorised
to sell at the best possible price the pumps and engines at the old City pump house.
On motion by Sanberg, asoonded by Dickens Council adjourned.

The Mayor anaounoed the appointment of Harry g Salcom to fill the
va0ancy areated by the Ordinance orating the position of .Engineer and on
motion F H Moller seconded by Mitchell the appointment was unanamoualyoonfirmed
