WHEREAS, the said land in question was part of the Park System of the City of Caldwell and author
I
ized for the sale of said land by the City Council and Mayor to the Grand Lodge of Idaho, I. 0, 0. F., Inc.,
II
a corporation, had to be approved by a majority vote of the qualified electors residing within the City of
Caldwell; and
I
WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 10, Title 50 of the Idaho Code an election was called and the matter
�Ivoted upon on the 18th day of April, 1950, resulting in a majority vote in favor of selling the land herein-
after described to the Grand Lodge of Idaho, I. 0. 0. F, Inc., a corporation, E
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and c ouncil of the City. of GaldTell that the Mavor and
p.
City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute appropriate papers conveying the hereinafter described land to
the Grand Lodge of Idaho, I. 0. 0, F., Inc., upon the receipt of five hundred dollars ($500.00) and payment it
of the same, said land being described as follows:
Beginning at the Easterly corner of Block One Hundred Six (106) of Goandu Addition to
,,the City of Caldwell, Idaho, as the same appears by the Plat thereof on file and of record in the office
Iof the County Recorder of Canyon County, Idaho, running thence Southwesterly along the North .sterly boundary'
line of Tenth Avenue a distance of 300 feet; running thence Northwesterly on a line parallel 'dth the North -
easterly boundary line of said Block 106 a distance of 125 feet; running thence Northeasterly on a line
`parallel with said Tenth Avenue, a distance of 300 feet to the Northeasterly boundary line of said Block 106;1 ,
(running thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly boundary line of said Block 106 to the point of begin-
ning.
Upon Roll C those voting in the affirmative were: Glaisyer, Burrell, Myers, Blomquist, Fenrich
L and Bettis. Negative: None. Absent and not voting: None. I'
Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted,
There being no further business to come before the Council, it was moved by Councilman Fenrich, Ij
'seconded by Councilman Myers that Council adjourn. Motion carried.

The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Covnci-1 Rooms of the City Hall, vdth

the Mayor Leo J. Mason, presiding.
Upon Roll Cell the following Councilmen answered presents Wm. Glaisyer, L. E. Burrell, John Myers,
Dale Fenrich and J. M. Bettis. Absent: Fran Blomquist.
Right- of-Way Deeds for the extension of Joilet Street and Second Avenue North were presented to th�
Mayor Council for their aporoval.
Moved by Burrell, seconded by Myers that these deeds be accepted.
Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried.
Mr. Jess Hawley, Attorney -at -Law, representing Mr. Jeff Williams of the Western Aircraft Corporation
was present and discussed with the Mayor and Council the present Airport Contract, also, informed the Mayor
and Council that Boyd Hill, Ronald Parrott and Lee Cock wished to cancel their lease. l
After thoroughly discussing this wetter the Mayor appointed the following as an Airport Committee '
f with power to act: Councilmen Myers, Fenrich, Glaisyer and Burrell.
Moved by Bettis, seconded by Myers that these appointment$ be confirmed. Motion carried.
Councilman Myers, Chairman of the Water Committee presented a list of uncollectable water accounts .
and requested they be charged off the Watar Ledger.
Moved by Burrell, seconded by Fenrich that these bills be chargedfrom the Water Ledger.

moved by Councilman Myers, seconded by Councilman Burrell that the rules requiring that the reading of a

Bill on three sseparatedays be suspended and that Bill No 1, be read the second time by title and the third �
time in full section by section and placed on the final passage. The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the
roll on the above motion with the following results Those voting in the affirmative hvres Glaisyer,
Burrell, Myers, Fenrich and Bettis. Negative: None. Absent and not votings Blomquist. The Mayor dedlarc
ed the motion had passed by the necessary three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk to read Bill No 1,
the second time by title and the third time in full section by section. The Clerk read the Bill as directed
The question being "Shall Bill No 1 pass?° The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the above
question which resulted as followst Those voting in the affirmative were. Glaisyer, Burrell, Myers, Fenrich:
and Bettis. Negative: None. Absent and not votingt Blomquist.
Thereupon the Mayor declared ?dill No 1, had passed and the Mayor in open session of the Council
duly signed andapproved the Bill and the Clerk duly signed and attested the same which became Ordinance
No.750. The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and to cause Ordinance No 750, to be,
published in the Caldwell News - Tribune the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.

There being no further business to come before the Council it waa moved by Councilman Myers,
seconded by Councilman Fenrich that Council adjourn, Motion carried.

Mr. 'N. S. Rodman, Jr, of Boise, Idaho, was present and discussed with the Mayor and Council the
leasing of the Caldwell Municipal Airport.
Thereupon the following Resolution was presented to the Mayor and Council by Councilman Myers,
who moved the adoption thereof which motion was duly seconded by Councilman Fenrich.
