It was voted on motion of Bollman, seconded by Mumford.g that the Resolution be adopted.
Bill No.16 "Fntitled an ordinance amending Ordinance Ho.82, entitled "An ordinance 'Clefiting
and prohibiting nuisances and providing for the abatement thereof and providing a penalty for the
maisttenanve thereof "•approved November 9th,1918, by adding Section 4-A" was read for the first I,
time.
It was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by Westoott.'be given power to let contract for
furnishing water for Curtis Park through a ditch to be constructed outside of the Park lima S.
It was voted on motion of Westoott, seconded by Simbrough, that the, Council adjourn.

The dounoil met in regular session with Mayor Miller, presiding, Oounoilmen Bollman,g brough,
Rowland and Westoott, present, and Mnmford and Oakes absent.
The reading of the minutes of the previous month were read and approved.
Dr.Gue protedtod against the building of a Picket Pence on Souht Kimball on the pr perty
owned by M.Aveirs and requested the Connoil to amend the Building Ordinance to require he
obtaining of a permit from the Building Inspector for the eams.The Mayor appointed a o - mmittee
0 wastoott,Rowlnad, and Hou to interviewcAveirs and try to have him d3aoontinue th same.
M.S.Sandmeyer, Representative of the Commerbial Club, asked the Council to fix Hit h Racks
in the City and estimated the oost to be froma$60 to $75. This was referred to the Rita t Beak
Committee.
Mre.Sarah Pemberton tendered her resignation se a member of the Library Board. The a no was
accepted.
It was voted on motion of Bollmon, seconded by Westoott, that the matter of leasing Block
89,Mountain View Addition to daldwell, one of the City Parks, be left to Oakes,Park Co itteeman
with power to cot.
The City Engineer reported favorably on the building of Sidewalk on the South aide f
Blaine St between 20th and 21st Ste.
Amos J.Miller, Ohm. on Sommittee on allowing the Pinley Advertsing Co. to place a poster
on Indian Creek,reported dnfavorably .It was voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by How-
land, that the repprt be soospIred.
The following Resolution by Rowland, was offered:

The City Clerk,in answer to Mayor Miller's question arevthere any objections to the
creating Local Lateral Sewer Improvement District No.10, stated that there were none.
Bill No.17,entilled Un Ordinance oreating and establidhing a local improvement
district to be oalled "Local Lateral Sewer Improvement District N in the City of
Caldwell,County of Canyon, State of Idaho, for the purpose of constructing a suitable sewer
system therein,fising the specific boundaries of sadd district, the general character of
the said proposed improvement, and the estimated cost of the same, and providing for each
coat to be assessed against all the property included within suoh:improaement dietriot,and
providing that the costs and expense of said mower improvement made ig t4o spaces fprmed
by the junctions and intersections of streets and avenues, and in the spaces opposite alleys
in such district, shall be borne by the proerty abutting,fronting,contiguous, or oontrib
utary to said intersections and shah" be a lien upon said property the same as any other
