which was read for the first time and the Mayor and Council proceeded to a consideration
of Bill No 10.

for his services. Motion carried.

The Uayor informed the Council 1 that the meeting was called to
consider the W. P. A. Recreation Program,
The meetinC was turned oter to Mr. Bazler and Mr. Spaugy, representatives from
the W. P. A. Recreation Division of the Stato Department of Education who throughly explai
the program.and also the cost.
The following citizens were present; L. E. Durrell, representing the School
Board, representing the Decade Club, ]lIrs. Harvey Odle, representinC the
Form Club, Mrs. Annabell Aunt, representinC the Business Womenms Club, C.E. Bales, re-
presenting the Elk's LodCe, Mrs. C, E. Bales, representing the Parent Teachersm Associatio
Calvin Pease, representing the I. 0. Oy F. Lodge, Bob Stringfield, representing the Soft
Ball Club, H.W, VanSlyke, representing the Junior Chamber of o ommerce, E. L. Vassar, re-
presenting the Chamber of Commerce, Floyd Jouthward, representing the Retail 1
Association,Hawley. C. Taylor, representing the American Legion, Robert Troxell, represent
the Kiwanis Club, Floyd LeT.7aster, representinJ The Lyons Club, Geo Croo ?ham, Jr., and

The Recreation Program was throv..ghly discussed b• the citizens and it was moved
by C. E, tales, sec °nded by B. L. Vassar the the Imyor and Council and The School Board
receive the pled, es from the different organizations. Motion carried.
Tho Mayor stated that the City was going to hage a "Clean up lWo ok" andssked the
oopperation of the Boy Scouts,

Thereupin Paul Tucker and wife, H, H. Torrens and wife and W. H. Trail and wife,
presented to the slayer and Council a plat of a portion of land to be known as the Torrens
f: Tucker Addition to the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
Thereupon "nnford presented the followin R and moved the adoption
thereof, which motion was duly seconded by Fenr1rh.

Idaho, be and the same is hereby accepted and approved by the mayor and Council of the
City of Caldwell and the mayor of the geld City of Caldwell is hereby authorized and auth-
orized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, the endorsement
of this acceptance upon said plat, rMch s ^id endorsoment shall 1 -e duly attested by the
City Clerk with the seal of th.e CiL attached and that the same shall b e recorded at the
instance and request of the said E, h. Torrens and wife, Paul Tucker and wife and l9, P„
Trail and wife, at the office of the Auidtor and Recorder of Canyon County, Idaho,and at
their expense and without expense to the City of Caldwell and thereafter the same shall be
