whereupon the matter of fees to be charred for use of the Golf Course was dis-
cussed -nd after due consideration the followinZ preamble and resolution was presented by
Council Ba'acock who moved the adoption thereof vAsich motion was duly seconded by Councilman
Mumf ord.

MHEREAS, It is necessary to establish a sc}iedule o.P fees to be collected From the
patrons cf the _,o3.f course,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following schedule of fees be and they
are hereby authorized and approved by the Yayer and 6 ouncil to be collected and paid into
the City Clerk of the City of Caldwell as the same are collected for the fees of said

Thereupon the Vayor declared tl motion carried and tln Resolution duly adopted.
There beinI no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Hinds,
seconded by Fenrich that Council adjourn, Motion car ried.

A Special Meeting of the Cit Co met in the Council Boom with the 1
W.R. Hollingsworth, presiding.
On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Ed, L. Oakes, G. 14.
Fenrich, 17.x. Boynton, Vl,E. Babcock and Dlorvil T. Hinds. Absent: F.D. IGumPord.

Mr. V. 0. Cox appeared before the Council in regard to Weed Control. Pdoved
by Oakes, seconded by Babcock that this matter be referred to the City Engineer and the
Street Committee with power to act. Motion carried.
Mrs. E. L. Crawford petitioned the Oooncil for cancellation Of, Assess-
ments on Lots 13 and 14 of Block 101 of Coandu Addition to the �'ity of Caldwell, Canyon
^
County,-Idaho. The Mayor informed Mrs. E. L. Crawford that when she took out a building
permit the taxes would be cancelled.
Thereupon Vd, P. A. Project # for the Airport was presented to the T..Tayor
and Co;mcil for their consideration and after due consideration the following resolution
wias presented by Councilman Fenrich, who moved the adoption thereof, which motion was
seconded by C ouncilman Babcock.

Council for their approval and that 11pon examination the same is hereby approved and the
Mayor and City Clerk on the behalf of the City of Caldwell are hereby authorized and di-
rected to execute the necessary application and instruments for securing the benefit of
said project from the Federal Goverment,

Yea: Oakes, Fenrich, Boynton, Babcock and Hinds,
Yay: None.
Absent and not voting: Mumford.
Thereupon the Tlayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution duly adopted.

was presented by Councilman Hinds , who moved the adoption therof,which motion was

Mayor and Council for their consideration and after due consideration the following re-
solution was presented by Councilman Boynton, who moved the adoption thereof, which motion
was duly seconded by Councilman Oakes. Motion carried.

the Mayor and City Clerk on the behalf of the City of Caldwell are hereby authorized and

Thereupon Councilman Boyntog,introducod Bill No.. 10, proposed Ordinance:No.,550,
by Boynton, entitled:
All ORDINANCE GRAITTIIIG A FRANCHISE TO THE FORI"IARD CLUB OF CALDPIELL, IDAHO, AND
- ASSIGNS TO CONSTRUCT MAINTA N, ENLARGE, IMPROVE REPAIR AND OPERATE A SWTWUNG POOL ON
CERTAIN PROPERTYDELONGING TO THE CITY 0- CALDWELL WITI-IT11 SAID CI"_'Y; AI ?D PROVIDING FOR THE
SUPERVISION OF SAID SVJI�U,7NG POOL BY SAID CITY.
which was read for the first time and the P•4ayor and Council proceeded to a consideration
of Bill No 10.
Moved by Hinds, seconded by Babcock that the City pay Earl Zeal $100 per month
for his services. Yet ion carried.
There being no further business to come before the Co��••.ncil it was ° - oved by

Tho Council met on Call of the Mayor with the Nayor, 1% ". I-I pre-
siding.
On Roll Call the followinf Councilmen answered presett: Edgar L. Oakes, W. s,
Boynton, F.L. Mumford, G. AT. Fenrich, W.E.EaLcock.and Norvil T, Hinds. Absent: None.
The Mayor informed the Council 1 that the meeting was called to
consider the 1 P. A. Recroation Program,
The meeting wns turned over to ?1r. Bazler and :7r, Spaugy, representatives from
the W. P. A. Recreation Division of the State Department of Education who throughly explai
the program.and also the cost.
The following citizens were present- L. E. i'urrell, representing the School
Board, representing the Decade Club, Mrs. Barvey Odle, representinE the
Forwrrd Club, Mrs. Annabell Lunt, representinE the Business 7omen s Club, C.E. Bales, re-
presenting the Elk's Lodge; Mrs. C, L, Gales, representing the Parent Teachers' Associatio
Calvin Pease, representing the T. 0, Oy F. Lodge, Bob StrinEfield, representing the Soft
Ball Club, H.W. VanSlyke, representing the Junior Chamber of o ommerce, E. L. Vassar, re-
presenting the Chamber of Commerce, Floyd southward, representing the Retail Merchants
Association,Haviley. C. Taylor, representing the American Legion, Robert Troxell, represent
the Kiwanis Club, Floyd LeMaster, representinZ The Lions Club, Goo Crcokham, Jr., and
Harry Tunnicliff, representing The BoJ'Seouts and Gee Stovel, representing the College of
Idaho.
The Recreation Program was throughly discussed b- the citizens and it was moved
by C. B. Dales, seconded b E. L. Vassar the the P,iayor and Council and The School Board
receive the pled from the different organizations. Motion carried.

cooperation of the Boy Scouts.
