Highway No 30 will cross at Boise Avenue shall be maintained by the City of Cald— well for a distance of 450 feet west of said U. S. Highway d 30, as long as said Highway is maintained by the State of Idaho. Upon Roll Call those voting in the affirmative worst Olaisyer, Burrell, Myers, Blomquist, Fenrieh and Bettis. Negatives None. Absent and not votings None. Thereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted. The following Resolution was presented to the Mayor and Council by Councilman Bettis, who moved the adoption thereof which motion was seconded by Councilman Olaisyer. RESOLUTION j By Councilman Bettis, WHLNEAS, the City of Caldwell has accepted the Plat of Griffiths Park Subdibtsion to the, City of Caldwell, Idaho, wherein dedicated to said city were certain street; and I WHEREAS, the acceptance of this plat on the part of the city was upon understanding that the city would not open the streets or surface the same, and would not accept them for maintenance until they were opened by the property owners, curbs and gutters installed, and properly surfaced with paving acceptable to the city. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT REBOLPEV,BT THE AMYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELLs Section 1. That the streets in Griffiths Park Subdivision after having been opened, paved and curbs and gutters installed at the expense of the ovine a of property within said subdivision, and said paving having been acceptable to the City of Caldwell, the City will thereafter maintain the same. Section 2. Said acceptance by the City shall be upon notice to the City Council and the City Engineer that said streets have been properly opened, curbs and gutters installed and paved as required hero— irk. Upon Roll Call those voting in the affirmative s=ere: Glaisyer, Burrell, Myers, Blomquist, Fenrich and Bettis Negatives None. Absent and not votingt None. Thereupon the Mayordsclared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted. There being no further business to come before the Council, it was moved by Councilman Fenrich, seconded by Councilman Bettis. that Council adjourn. Motion carried. L Mayor. The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgment of notice in the following forms CALL AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 5115 P. M, on the 16th, day of April, 1951, for the. transaction of all business in connection with the following ob,',ects Introduction of Bill No 25, which ob, was submitted to each of the undersigned in writing. E. Burrell, John Myers, Fran Blomquist, Dale Fene ch and J. W. Pettiso Mayor Leo J. Mason presiding. Thereupon Councilman Glaieyer, introduced Bill No 25, entitled: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DEEDING OF A PARCEL OF LAND OVED BY THE CITY OF CALIYELL, IDAHO, TO THE STATE OF IDAHO FOR PUBLIC USE WITHOUT ANDY MONETARY CONSID- RATION ACCRUING TO THE CITY OF CALDINMIJ,. which was read for the. first time and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill No 21. It was moved by Councilman Bettis, seconded by Councilman Fenrich that the rules requiring that the reading of a Bill on three separate days be suspended and Bill No 25, be read the second time by title and the third time in full section by section and placed on the final passage. The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the above motion with the following results Those voting in the affirmative were: Glaisyer, Burrell, Myers, Blomquist, Fenrich and Bettis. Negatives None. Absent and not voting: None. The Mayor declated the motion had passed by the necessary three - fourths majority and directed the Clerk to read Bill No 25, the second time by title and the third time in full section by section. The Clerk read the Bill as directed. The question being "Shall Bill No 25 pass?" The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll on the above question which resulted as follow: Those voting in the affirmative weret Glaisyer, Burrell, Myers, Blomquist, Fenrich and Bettis. Negatives None. Absent and not votingr None. Thereupon the Mayor declared Bill No 25, had passed and the Mayor in open session of the Council duly signed and approved the Bill and the Clerk duly signed and attested the same which became Ordinance No 774. The Mayor directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same a nd to cause Ordinance No 774 to be published in the Caldwell News - Tribune the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho. There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Fenrich, seconded by Councilman Blomquist that Council adjourn. Motion 9arried. C Mayor. City Clerk. ' COUNCIL CHAMBERS, NAY 7th, 1951, 700 P. M. The Regular Monthly Meeting of the Council met in the Council Rooms of the City Hall, with the Mayor Leo J. Mason, presiding. Upon Roll Call the following Councilman answered preaents Wm Glaisyer, L. E. Burrell, John Myers, Dale Fenrich and J. M. Bettis. Absents Fran Blomquist. The Bills for April were read and on motion by Glaisyer, seconded by Bettis that these Bills be allowed and Warrants ordered drawn for the variousamounts all of which had been approved by the Chairman of the Finance Committee.
