COUNCIL CHAMBERS, APRIL 15, 1953, 8100 P. M. The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgment of notice in the following forms CALL AND ACANOWLEDGMENT OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of $100 P. M. on the 15th day of April, 1953 for the transaction of allbusiness in connection with the following objects Discussion on bond issue for City Hall and Fire Department, which object was submitted to each of the undersigned in writing. WITNESS our signatures this 15th, dqy of April 1953. / J V Mayor Mayor Jason C. Smith, presiding. Upon Roll Call the following Councilman answered presents Fran Blomquist, L. E. Burrell, John Myers, Ernest Weick, Dale Fenrich and J. M. Bettis. The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called to meet with Martin Olsen and diacuss the proposed bond issue for the construction of a City Hall and Fire Station. This matter was thoroughly discussed batno action was taken Mr. I. R. Nicol was present and discussed with the Mayor and Council the renewal of his =contract with the City for hauling garbage. No action was taken at this time. There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Fenrich, seconded by Blomg4st that Council adjourn. Motion carried. G Mayor. City Clerk COUNCIL CHAMBERS, MAY 4th, 1953, 8:00 P. M. The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the C ouncil Rooms of the City Hall, with the Mayor Jason C.Smith presiding. Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered presents Fran Blomquist, L. +,Burrell, John Wers, Ernest Weick, Dale Fenrich and J. M. Bettis. Application for Pool License was read from The Waldorf Cigar Store, the fee accompanying the ap— plication. Moved by Blomquist, seconded by Burrell that this License be granted. Upon Roll C it appeared the motion was unanimously carried.
