That the Clerk of the City of Caldwell, Idaho is hereby authorized and directed tondvertiso for bids to be recl,ved by the Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, at the office of the City Cleric in the City fall, until the 29t -., day of April, 1940, at 8:00 o'clock P. ^,I„ for the repair and construction of sidewalks according; to plan # 3, of Ordinance 7 x189. No proposal or bid will be considered unless accompanied by a cerified check of a Caldwell bank in favor of the City of Caldwell for Dive percent (5N) of the amount 'bid, a s evidence of good faith, to be forfeited if the successful bidder fails, neglects or refuses to enter into a contract and provide a suitable bond for the faithful performance of the work and protection of the labor and material 7nen in case the contra.dt is awarded to him. Said bond is to be for a sum equal to the total amoVint of the successful bid. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids or to let the work as a w; or in part, as may appear to the best interest of the City. No t=t of the work can bo sublet without the consent of the Msyor and the City Council. Thereupon the Vayor declared the motion carried ard the R duly adopted. Oakes, presiding. On Poll Call the following Councilmen answered present: IV.E.Ba'icock, Oscar Sten &el, W.L. Randford, C. 7. Fenrieh and 71.1.°andmmeyer. Absent: C. 0, McDannel.
