Council met in adjourned Session pursuant to adjournment on April 9,
1980, with mayor moCcomel presiding, and Coanollmen. Bollman. Dickens. Johns,
Leighty and Sandmeyer, present; Absent, Gordon.
owing to the absence of the City Clerk, the mayor appointed Mr. W. 0-
Dyer, Acting Clerk and announced that the Council wqa in session for the considers -
tion bf any business which might lawfully come before it.
Thereupon Councilman Bollm®n,int'rddubed the following resolution and

"A RESOLUTION AUTEMSING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, TO ENTER
INTO A CORTRACT WITS WALTER S. BRUCE b CO., INC., A CORPORATION, ffiLOYING THE
LATTER TO ACT AS PISOAL AGENT POR THE CITY OP OALDWHLL, IDAHO, POR TTSE PURPOSE
OP SELLIN4 BONDS OF LOCAL STREET IMPR0VEM2 DISTRICT 10. 91 SAID CONTRAOT BEING
DATED APRIL 14„ 1930.
WHEREAS, It is deemed necessary and advisable and to the best interest
of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, to employ a Fiscal Agent for the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, for the purpose of selling and disposing of certain bonds of Ldoel Street
improvement Distriot`No. 9, of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and
WHHRHAS, a fter due consideration, the mayor and Council doom it
advisable to employ Walter a. Bruos CO.. Ina., s corporation, with its principaL
place of business in Boise, Idaho, as such Fiscal Agent;
DOW, THERHPO1W. BE IT RESOLVED By the mayor and Council of the City of
Caldwell, Idaho:
section 1. That the mayor of the City of Caldwell, is and he hereby
is authorised and directed, for and on bbbplf of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, to
enter into that certain agreement, date& April 14. 1930, made by the City of Calk-
well, Idaho, a manioipal corporation as party of the first part and Walter a.
Brace &GO., Imo., a corporation, with its principal place of business at Boise,
Idaho, as party of the second pact, employing the said Walter S. Bruce h Co., Ina.,
to act as Fiscal Agent for the City of Osldwell, Idaho, pursuant to the tome and
conditions of said contract -

be adopted, the question being "Shell the resolution pass?". The mayor caused
the acting clerk to call the rol2t4ritli the following results: Those voting in
the affirmative- eollman, Dickens, Johns, Leighty and Sandmayer. Those voting
in the negative:. None. Absent. and `not voting: Gordon. The mayor declared
the motion carried aid Resolution Do. 38 passed and adopted.- the same being
approved in open session of the Council.
Thereupon, motion was made by Councilmen, Bollman, seconded by Leighty
that further acmeideration of the bid of S. J. moneel for performing labor,
furnishing material and constructing the works proposed to be construbted
in Local Street Improvement District No. 9, for the City of Caldwell, Idaho,
be continued for farther oonsideration to the meeting of the mayor and
Council to be hold in the Council Chambers in the City of Caldwell. April

28th, 1930, at 8 :00 Y:M. Those voting in the affirmative: Bollman, Dickens,
Johns. Leighty and uandmeyer. Those voting in the negative: None. Absent and
not voting: Gordon. Thereupon, the Mayor declared the motion carried.
A repreeentative of Fletcher 011 Company appeared before the Council
and requested permission to out the curb across First Avenue and Cleveland
Boulevard for the oonstraotion of an approaoh to their service station in Block
III Strahovn'e Addition and to permit them to make a crossing acrose•the
railroad track. It was moved by sandmeyer and seconded by Johns that the request
OZ Fleboher Oil Company be granted, provided, the work be done under the super-
vision of the City Engineer. Motion carried.
The Council took up for consideration the patter of a new well for the
swimming pool. Whereupon it was moved by eandmeyer and seconded by Johns that,
owing to the absence of the Chairman of the Water Works Committee, action with
reference tb a well for the swimming pool be deferred until the neat meeting of
the Ooanoil. Motion carried.
It was moved by Johns and seconded by Leighty that the Counoll adjourn
to reoonvene on April 28th, 1980, at 8:00 o'clock p.m. 9dotion carried.

Council met in adjourned session pursuant to adjournment on April•14th. 1930
with Mayor McConnel presiding, and Councilman Bollman, Dickens, Johns, Leighty, pres-
ent, Absent Gordon, and Sandmeyer.
Owing to the absence of the City Clerk the Mayor appointed Mr. W. 0. Dyer,
Acting Clerk, and announced that the Council was in session for the consideration
of any business which might lawfully come before it.
Lee Johnson from Parma also Peckham made remarks in regard to gas
and oil.
Mr. J. .H: Lowell appeared in regard to the well at the Swimming Pool and
and inquired of the Oity!s attitude toward the situation.
Thereupon; motion was made by councilman Leighty, seconded by Councilman
Dickens that further considerato:of the bid of H. J. McNeal for performing labor,
furnishing material and constructing the works proposed to be constructed in Local
Street Improvement District No. 9, of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, bIcontinued for
further consideration to the meeting of The Mayor and Council to be Held in the
Council Chambers in the City Hall, in the City of Caldwell, April 30, 1930, at
eight O'clock P.M. Those voting in the affirmative: Bollman, Johns, - Leighty,G..�
