It was voted on motion of Dutton, seconded by uonley, that the Council adjourn to
Monday, April 11th, 1927 at 8 P.M.

THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL MET IR REGULAR SESSION, PURSUANT TO ADJOURNMENT ON MONDAY APRIL II H,

Wheeler, present, and Kimbrough, absent.
It was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by Conley, that the 'tandard 011 Co. of Cali ornia
be granted a permit to erect a Service Station on Lots 11 and 12, Block 10, Original ?Mai e,
provided that the aforesaid company build a concrete approach from the ourbing to the props ty
line, as requested by E.D.Aspinwall. reppesen`ative of the Standard Oil Co. of Caldfornia.
It was voted on motion of Wheeler, seconded by Mumford, that the Council place on duty
another regular fireman, to replace the one taken off during the year 1923.
It was voted on motion of Conley, seconded by McConnel, that a bath tub be installed in the
- Chiefs quarters at a cost not to exceed $100.00.
BILL NO. 29, by Mumford, entitled " AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE TOTHE FORWARD CL OF
CALDWELL, IDAHO,AND ASSIGNS, TO CONSTRUCT AND OPERATE A SWII, -WING POOR. ON CERTAIN PROPERTY ONG-
ING TO THE CITY OF CALDWELL WITHIN SAID CITY;AND PROVIDING FOR THE SUPERVISION OF SAID SW ING
POOL BY SAID CITY," was read for the first time. A motion was by Conley, seconded by Mo"onn 1,
that the rules requiring the reading of a bill on three separate days be suspended, and the bill
read the second time by title and the third time in fall, and placed on its final passage. e
Mayor directed the clerk to call the roll on the aforesaid motion ith the following reaul ;

ABSENT: KIMBROUGH. THE Mayor declared the motion had carried by the necessary 3/4 majority.
Bill No. 29 was read the second time by titles and the third time in fall and placed on Us

directed to call the roll with the following result:
