Resolutions No. 21, 22, and 23, by Dutton, Mumford, and Conley, respectively, were submitted me follows: Rgaol tion No. 21: A RESOLUTION AGREEING TO MAINTAIN AND TAKE CARE OF THE OLD OREGON TRAIL STATE HI AY, FEDERAL AID PROJECT NO.86 -B, WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL: WHEREAS, in Agreement was ante red into by the state of Idaho acting through the Department of Public Wo a by the Commissioner.of Public Works thereof as the first party and the City of Cald- well, a mu3icipal corporation as the second party, and whereas such contract was for the cohst- ruction ol a.cartain highway known and designated as Federal Aid 1 'rojeot No. 86 -B, Caldwell City Secti m,and WHEREAS under the terms of such contract the federal Government has alloted $67,202.89 as its proportion of such construction, and the City of Caldwell paid the sum of $40,791.40, as its share s of such co struction; Therefear be it resolved; That it is and will be the undertaking of the City of Caldwell that this highw ty will be maintained to standard in every way, and properly taken case of by the City of Caldwel at its expense. Resolut on No.22: A RESOLUTION IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 266, LAWS OF 1921, OF THE $T OF IDAHO, AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 46,L*WS OF 1926, OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, RELATING TO DEPOSITS OP MUNICIPAL TURDS. Be it Resolved by the A%yor and Cpunoil of the City of Caldwell: Beoti n 1. That the First Najrional Bank of C aldwell, Idaho, be and the same is hereby redeaig- nated as the depository of the funds belonging to the City of Caldwell, and that the City Treasurer f the City of Caldwell, is hereby authorized to keep on deposit in the First National Bank of Ca dwell, Idaho, not to exoeed the sum of Seventy -five Thousand Do llcra($76,000.00), of the finds oming into the hands of the Treasurer by viture of his office. Resolu ion No.23: A RESOLUTION AUTHPRIZING SID DIRECTING THE COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY Cr CALDWELL, :DAHO, TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE COMMISSIONER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBILC WORKS OF THE STATE F IDAHO, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PA704ENT, ON THE CALD71ELL SECTION OF OLD OREGON TRAIL FIDE L AID PROJECT NO.86B. WHERELS, heretofore the Commissioner of the Department of Public Works of the State of Idaho, awarded s ontraot for the construction of pavement on the Caldwell Section of Old Oregon Trail F ederal Ail trojeot No.86B, Po Olaf 1 �elson,of Logan, Utah, subject to the approval by the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho; and, WHEREAS at a duly and legally adjourned session of the City Council of the City of Caldwell. held on th 27th day of March, 1926, said Council passed a resolution concurring in said award of said oomtr of to said Olaf Belson, and, i 4 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of the Department of Public Works of the Mate of Idaho, has p: a contract between himalef as such Commissioner and the City Council of the City of Ca: providing for the payment by the said City of C aldwell of its proportion of the cost of oonstruotion of such pavement, and has requested that adid Council join in the execution said comtract, for and on behalf of said City of Oaldwell; the refers, be it Resolved by the - ayor and Council of the City of Caldwell ,Idaho: Section 1. That the City Councilmen of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, are hereby author directed , for and on hehlaf of the City of Caldwell. Idaho, to execute that certain co; betteen the Commissioner of the Department of Public ^orks of the State of Idaho, and City Councilmn of the City of Caldwell. Idsho,providing for the payment bf the City of of its proportion of the cost of the construction of the Caldwell section of Old Oregon Federal Aid r rojeot No. 86 B. A motion was made by Mumford, seconded by rim rough, that Resolutions No.21,22, and adopted. The roll being call,pd,with the folbowing result: AYES: CONLEY,DUTTON, KIMBIZOUGH,YUM ORD, AND WHEELER. NAYES: NONE. ABSENT: MCCONNEL. The Mayor declared the motion had carried and Resolutions No 21, 22, 23 adopted.
