Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor Ward presiding. the following Councilmen were present; Dickens, Dunlap, Feuling. Moore and Sutton. Absent Hayman. Ordinance No 337 entitled , AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A LOCAL IMPROVE0UNT' DISTRICT TO BE CALLED "LOCAL SEWERAGE IMPROVED T DISTRICT NO 7 Was read the first time and motion was made by Sutton and seconded by Feuling that the rule requiring the reading of an Ordinance on three separate dates be suspender. and that the Ordinance be read the fecond time by title and the third time in full and p$hoed on its final passage. On the roll being called the vote was as follows; Ayes, Dickens, Dunlap, Feuling Moore and Sutton. Absent Hayman. , The ulerk thereupon read the ordinance the second time by title and the third time in full and on the roll being called on the motion the vote was, Ayes, Dickens, Dunlap, Feuling, Moore and Sutton. The Mayor announced that the motion had carried and the clerk was instructed to make proper entry and cause same to be published in the Cald- well Bows-the official Newspaper of the city of Caldwell. The following resolution by Dickens was presented and on motion was unanamously adopted; RESOLUTION BY DICKENS. Whereas a plan for changing the location of the Street Car Line and the curve therein at the corner of Cleveland Boulevards and Tenth Ave. is deemed advisable. Now therefore be it resolved that the Mayor and city council of the city of Caldwell. Idaho approve the change of the location of the t track and curve of the track of the Boise Valley Traction Company at the corner of Cleveland Boulavarde and Tenth Ave. as shown on the accompany- ing plat; and recommend that the Company make such change before present paving is completed. Petition was presented by C S Gibson at al for the paving of Albany Street betwenn 5, and 8, streets and same was referred th the Street committee. Application of the Finlay Poster Co for permission to erect Sign Board was presented. motion made by Dickens and seconded by Sutton that Bill Boards erected on Belmont and Chicago and all other boards ereoted without permission be removed and that no •further permits be allowed. carried, Moved by Dunlap and seconded by Dickens that City Engineer be instructed to procure data in order that the Council may advised as to the cost of Paving and Water Maine in the Distrio$;a petitioned for and IN 0 h and those under cosideration by the Council. COUNCIL CHAMBERS CITY OF CALDWELL APRIL 15, 1920. Council met in adjourned session Mayor Ward and President of the Council Hayman being absent S Ben Dunlap was nominated to act as Mayor. The following CounoiLnen were present; Dickens, Fouling Moore and Sutton. A I Moyers presented the proposition of a Community and Legion Building and Dr F M Cole representing the Legion spoke in behalf of the proposition from the Legion stand point and the following influential citizens spoke enthusiastically concerning same; Ge Warren. Walter Griffith, i3 C Pasley, T A Walters, J B Gowen, F W 'Rhoeler H D Hanna, H J Johnson, 17 T Kimbrough, Dr J S Mayer and R E Feld. The acting Mayor appointed a committee oosisting of Moore Fouling and Sutton to meet with a committee from the Legion and the 06mmercial Club to formdlate plans for same. On motion Sutton seconded by Dickens Council adjourned to Monday April 19, Attest; City Cler -- Mayor COUNCIL CHAMBERS CALDWELL APRIL 19. 1920. Council met pursuant to adjournment with Prewident of the Council Hayman presiding, Councilmen present Dunlap Fouling Moore and Sutton. This being the time set for the hearing of protests to the creating of Local Sewerage Improvement District Ito 8 and as no protests were made council proceeded to take steps necessary to the creation of the District. Ordinance No 338 entitled, AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND ESTABLISHING A LOCAL IMPaOV MENT DISTRICT TO BE CALLED LOCAL SEWERAGE IMPROYEtWT DISTRICT NO 8 was read thefirat time and on motion Dunlap seconded by Fouling that the rule requiring the reading of an ordinance on there seperate dates be suspended and that the ordinance be read the 4 #mime by title and the third time in full and placed on its fine- passage the vote on the motion was Ayes Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman Moore and Sutton absent Dickens,
