Council met in regular session, pursuant to ad- Journment, with Mayor Griffiths, presiding, and Councilmen Adam, Adarps, Bardsley, Steunenberg, Zeh, present; Shorb,Clerk. The claim of the Idaho Railway Lignt & Power Company was fully considered and allowed item by item, the whole amounting to t'T04,13, 8376.11 on the general fund and $328.02 on the water works fund was allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the same. Voted, on motion of Adams, that council adjourn until Monday evening, April 14, 1913 at 8 o'clock. City Clerk. Monday, April 14, 1913. Bill No. 35, by Adams, entitled, "An Ordinance providing for the caring and keeping of monies in the custody of the City Treasurer of the city of Caldwell, Idaho, and presctibing penalties and repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith." was read the first time. A motion was made by Bardsley that the rules be suspended and the reading three separate days be dispensed with:, and Rill No. 35 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its fire 1 passage. The roll being called on the motion the vote resultedi Ayes Adam, Ada,pa, Bardsley, Harrington, nteunenberg, Zeh -6, Naye- None Absent- None. So the motion pre vailed. Bill No. 35 read second time by title. Bill No. 35 read third time in full and placed on Its final passage. On the question, Shall Bill No. 35 pass? y - he roll being called the vote resulted Ayes- Adam, Adams, Bardsley, Harrington, Steunenberg, Zeh,- 6. Nays and Absent- None. So Bill No. 35 passed, becoming Ordinance No. 231. Bill No. 36, by Adams, entitled, "An Ordinance vacating, Abandoning and discontinuing certain portions of certdin streets, blocks and alleys, and avenues in Mountainview Addition, Number two to the City of Caldwell, Idaho." was read the first time. A motion was made by Steunenberg, that rules be suspended and the reading on three separate days be dispensed with, and Bill No. 36 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage.
