The Council met in regular session, April6th,1925 at 8 P.M. with Mayor Smeed, presiding Councilmen Feuling,Harmon, Kimbrough, Mum ford, Robb, & Wheeler present. The minutes of previous sessions were read and upon motion of Robb, seconded by Yelling -the same were approved. H.H.Hayman, representing the College of Idaho, appeared before the Council and request id that the Council At any - future time, as long as the College of Idaho mAintain a certain Cinder walk defer from ordering In a Concrete walk, so it was voted on motion of Wheeler, seconded by Q,mbrough, that as long as the College of Idaho maintains their wal9 in good repair 26 feet,5 +inohea Tom the Curb line on the East side of 20thAvenne along the College of Idaho's property,that th Mayor and Council will not order in any concrete walk. It was voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Wheeler, that the City furnish ' of a 2 Lnoh pipe from the corner of Sixth and Arthur to the property line of the Boise valley Dairymana Coo erative Creamery and from there on whatever pipe is necessary tb water the part of Blaine Street n t opened to Indian Creek, with the understanding that the Officials of said Creamery Go. irrigate a id maintain the same. Bills No.20,21, and 22,'WTITLED AN ORDINANCE AMENDIRG ORDINANCE N0.299;OF THE CITY 0 CALDWELL, IDAHO,BY ADDING TO SUCH ORDINANCE A NEW SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION SEVENTEEN OF ORDINA fCE NO. 299; ENTITLED AN ORDINANCr: AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.390 OF THE ORDINANCES OF THE CITY =OF CA L, IDAHOW BY ADDING A NEW SECTION TO SAID ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 14A;ENTITLED AN OIDINANCE CREATING A FUND TO KNOWN AS THE IRRIGATION IMPROVEriENT FUND OUT OF MONEYS PAID INTO THE I IGATION FUND OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL,IDA. ?0, TO BE EXPENDED THEREFROM ONLY FOR IMPROVEMENTS UPON T IRRIGATION SYSTEM WITHIN THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO,respectivel3r were read for the first ime. A motion was made by Kimbrough, seconded by Harmon, that the rules requiring the reading o , a bill on three separate days be auspended and the bills be read the second time by title and the third time in full and placed on their final passage. The ro &l being called on the same, the Mayor ar2duneed the same had passed with the following result; AYES: FEULING, HEEMON, KIMBROUGH, =ORD, ROBB, AND WHEELER. NAYES AND ABSENT: NONE. The bills were read the second time mg title and the third time in full and on the questio ,as put by the Mayor, shall Bills No.20,21, and 22 pass? the Clerk called the roll on the same with tie following result: AYES. FEULING, HARMON, KIMBROUGH, MUE$ORD, ROBB, AND WHEELER. MAYES AND ABSENT: NONE. S the Uayor declared the Bills had passed and now became Ordinancos No. 401, 402, and 403, and directed the Clerk to make proper entry of the same and cuasethe sane to be f publibhed in the Caldwell Tribune, the Official Newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Oanyon lounty, Idaho. It was voted on motion of Harmon, seconded by Numford, that ma of eettelement with the Caldwell } raotion be left to the Mayor , and before final settelement that the contract be submitted U the Council for its approvaa.. The Mayor and Council appointed tMes. Paul Jarrett,for the First Ward, Mts. D.G.Raby r the second ward, and Mrs. B.L.Newell for the third ward, deputy Registrars; also appointed C. Hawker. Mrs. E.J.Robb, Mrs. Roy Titue,Mrs. Geo.W.Green, and Mrs.Paul Jarrett, Jtzdgea and 8lerke o election for the first ward; H.D.Blatehley, Mrs. C.L.,Sloan, Mrs. D.G.Ruby, Mrs. Anne Young, Mrs. M. .Sustaoe, and Mrs. Ethel �Iard for the second ward; and E.H.Plowhead, Mrs. Frank Meek, Mrs. John Fin , Mrs. John F.Rode, and Mrs. B.L. "swell, for the third ward foe the Munioigal Election to be held in the City of Caldwell, Tuesday, April 28th,1925 at 0 A.M, the polling places to be the Court House; Caldwell,asle Co.Office at the corner of 9th & Blaine St, and the City Hall. ds It was vo ed on motion of Harmon, seconded byb Wheeler, that the Contract for Auditing the City Records for the past two years be given to Howard Snail of Nampa, Idaho.
