The Council met pursuant to call and acknowledgment of notice in the following form: CALL AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF NOTICE We, the undersigned Mayor and Members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Id ? deesch hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of the said City Council to be held at the Saratoga Hotel , in the gity of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 12:00 o'clock A. M. on the 5th day of Aril, 1957, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Authorizing the payment'of a warranV to J. W. Watkin & Son, which object was presented to each of the undersigned in writing Witness our signatures this 5th day of April, 1957. _ h ��il e_-, Councilman Mayor Jason C. Smith presiding. U Upon Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: L. E. Burrell, Emile Shorb, L. P. Eldredge and J. M. Bettis. Absent: Fran B lomquist and Goo Cleveland. The Mayor informed the Council the meeting was called to approve voucher for C. W. Watkins & Son which was not presented for approval April lat., but was in order. Moved by Eldredge, seconded by Burrell the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to issue a city warrant to C. W. Watkin & Son in the amount of 835,438.57. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried• Application for Pool & Carl License was read from Art & Roy's Sport Shop, the fee accompanying the application. Moved by Burrell, seconded by Shorb that this License be granted. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried* There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Councilman Eldredge, j seconded by CouncilT.an Bettis, that Council adjourn.
