The Council met in conformity to adjournment of April 4th. with the Mayor Fred
L. Lilly presiding.
Those present: M. S. Sandmeyer, A. G. Keister, 0. E. Bales, Joe Dickens, C. M
Johnston and E. L. Vassar.
The object of the meeting was to meet a representative from the Morrison
Knudsen Cc to Fo nver the matter of the Oiling of L. I. D. Nos. 1� and 1 ;.

A Resolution presented by Sandmeyer and seconded by Va.sear directing the
City Engineer to call for bids for Oiling Local Improvement Districts Idol. 12 and 13.
Those voting in favor were: Sandmeyer, Keister, Bales, Vassar, Dickena and
Johnston. Those opposed, None. Absent and not voting, Hone.
Moved by Hales and seconded by Johnston that this Council stand adjourned
on call of the Mayor. Motion Carried,

COUNCIL CHAMBERS, APRIL 19, 1932 -
9 :00 P. 13.
The meeting of the City Council that at the call of the Mayor for the final'consid-
eration of the Report of the Zoning Commission and any other business that might 'come
before, the Council. Mayor Fred L. Lilly, presiding.
On Roll Call, the following Councilmen answered present: P.R. S. Sandmeyer, A. G.
Keister, 0. E. Bales, C. Id. Johnston, Joe Di -okens and E. L. Vassar.
The Clerk, read the entire proposed Zoning Ordinance, naregraph by paregiaph, and
the Mayor asked if�ny one present had any thing to sav, app suggestions or any questions
relating to the proposed Ordinance.
A number of the people in the audience discussed the matter and asked a number
Of c+aestiona, but no serious objections were offered. And after a thorough discussion of
the proposed Ordinance by the Council., It was moved by Vassar and seconded by Dickens
that the Rules requiring the reading of a. Bill on three separate days be suspended and
that the proposed prdinance be read the second time by title and the third tim@ ib full,
section by sections and placed on its final reading for passage. The Mayor directed the
Clerk to call the Roll on the motion with the following res "Its: Those voting in the af-
firme.tive wets; Sandmeyer, Keister, Baled, Johnston, Dickens and Vassar. Those voting in
the negative, None: Absent and not voting, None. The Cicyor then declared the motion had
carried by the neoessary three- fourth majority, "nd directed the Clerk to read the pro -
posed Ordinance the second time by title, which was done. It was then moved by Veeear
and seconded by Sandmeyer th ?.t the third and final reading of the proposed Ordinance
