request gave it as his opinion taut as the ,City ad absolute control over the streets it
could compel the -ditch o ^rners to pipe the water running in the :ditches.
Tt was voted upon motion of Forbes teat the City Attorney be instructed to
notify the owners of the ditch which runs through the Gipson orchard,to pipe the water in

Ordinance, vacating the alley in Dlock 73 of the Original townrite, was read. It was voted
upon motion of 7arrington, seconded Ackley, that the matter he referred to the Street
Committee. The dTayor also requested the City Attorney to act with the Street Committee.
The petition of Thomas T:. Cochrano et -al, requesting that an Ordinance fie passed
prohibiting transient horse_ '•.radars and Gypsies from camping irside tho city limits, was
read. It was voted upon motion of Farrington, seconded Ackley, that the police be requested
to instruct the campers to rtove on.
