Council met in adjourned session pursuant to adjournment with Mayor MoConnel
presiding and the following Councilmen present: Bollman, Dickens, Johns, Leighty and
Bandmeyer, Absent: None.
Owing to the absence of the City Clerk, the Mayor appointed Mr. W. C. Dyer,
Acting C ;erk, and announced that the Council was in session for the consideration of
any business which might lawfully come before it.
Thereupon Councilman Johns introduced Bill No. 26, by Johns entitled:

NO. 13, FOR THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO; APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL F'=R SAID DISm
TRICT AS FILED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK ON NOVEIBER 20, 1930, AND ACCEPTED AND
CONFIRMED BY THE COUNCIL ON DECEMBER6, 1930; PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT IN 111STALLLIENTS

OF THE COST AND EXPENSE OF THE IMPROVEPIENT HAIlk IN SAID DISTRICT: ASSESSING THE COST OF
THE II61PROVEiENT AGAINST THE LOTS, BLOCKS AND PARCELS OF LAND IN SAID DISTRICT, OONTIGA
UCUS TO, FRONTING OR ABUTTIHG UPON SAID IPPROVEMENT, AND DESCRIF•I_IG THE MANPiER FOR THE
COLLECTION AND P:;YUENT OF SAID ASSESSMENTS.
17AS read for the first time, and the Council proceeded to a consideration of Bill.26.
It was moved by Bollman and seconded by Dickens that all rules requiring the
reading of a bill on three separate days be suspended and that Bill No. 26 be read the
second time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The
Mayor caused the Clerk to call the roll on the motion; with the following results.

Those voting in the affirmative: Bollran, Dickens, /Johns, Leighty and Sandmeyer:
Those voting in the negative: None. Absent and not voting: None. The Mayor declar-

ed the motion had passed by the necessary three- fourthe majority, and directed the

Clerk to read Bill Ne. 26, the second time by title and the third time in full, sec-
tion by section. The Clerk read the bill as directed. The question being "Shall
Bill No. 26 pass?" The Mayor directed the Clerk to call the roll which resulted as
follows: Those voting in the affirmative: Bollman, Dickens, Gordon, Johns, Leighty
and Sandmeyer: Those voting in the negative: None. Absent and not voting: None.
Thereupon the Sayor declared Bill No. 26 had passed. The Kayor in open session of the
Council duly signed and approved said Bill and the Clerk duly signed and attested the
game, whichbeoame Ordinance No. 493. The Mayor thereupon directed the Clerk to make
the proper entry of the same and to cause Ordinance No. 493, to be published in the
Caldwell News - Tribune the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
Thereupon the Council proceeded to a discussion of the matter of the appoint-
ment of Registrars and Judges and Clerks for the general election to be held on April
26, 1931; Thereupon Oouncilivan Johns introduced the following resolution and moved
ite. adoption;
RESOLUTION NO. 63.
BY JOHNS.
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE POLLING PLACES FOR THE REGULAR BIENNIAL MUNICa
IPAL ELECTION, FOR ThE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, TO BE HELD ON APRIL 29, 1931, APPOINT -
ING DEPUTY REGISTRARS FOR TIM REGISTRATION OF VOTERS FOR SAID ELECTION; AND DESIGNATING
JUDGES, OLERKS AND CONSTABLES TO CONDUCT SUCH ELECTION.
Be it resolved by the LMayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho.
Section 1. That at the regular biennial municieal election to be held in
and for the City of Caldwell, Idaaho, on the fourth Tuesday in April, to -wit, the 26th
day of April, A.D.1931, at which there will be alected the elective officers of said
City, to serve for the ensuing biennium, or until the election and qualification of
their.successors, the following axe designated as the polling places for such election: .._
For the first Ward, at the ",anyon•County Court House, between 11th. and 12th.
Avenues on Albany Street;

For the second Ward, at the offices of Caldwell Sales Company, at the corner
of 9th. Avenue and Blaine Street;
For the Third Ward, at the City Council Chambers in the City Hall, at 7th.
Avenue and Blaine Street.
,Sec. 2. That W. C. Dyer, as Acting Clerk, is hereby designated as Registrar,
and the following are-hereby designated as Deputy Registrars:
For the Firat Ward, Mre. J. J. Plowhead, residing at 81 Albany Street;
For the Second Ward, Mrs. B. C. Morse, residing at 18th. Avenue and Cleveland
Boulevard;
For the Third Ward, Miss Lillian Potter, residing at 603 Cleveland Boulevard.
Sec. 3. That the following are hereby designated as judges, distributing clerks,
and constables of election for their respective wards:
For the first ward:

The motion for the adoption of said resolution was duly seconded by Sandmeyer.
The question being ""hall the resolution pass?" The Mayor directed the Clerk to an
the roll which resulted as follows. Those voting in the affirmitive: Dollman, Dickens, Co
Johns,: Leighty and Sandmeyer: Those voting in the negative: None. Absent and not voting:
none. Whereupon the Mayor declared the motion carried and resolution No. 63 adopted, and
Mayor directed hte Clerk to record the same upon the journal of the proceedints of the Cou
as a part of the minutes of this meeting. Thereupon the Mayor in open session of the Cou
duly signed and approved said resolution and the Clerk dole signed and attested the cams.
It was moved by Bollman, and seconded by Gordon, that the council adjourn. Motion
carried. Thereupon the Council adjourned.
