ment with Mayor Griffiths, presiding, and Councilmen Adam, Adams, Bardeley, Harrington,
Steunenberg, Zah, present; Shorb, clerk.
The city clerk was instructed to notify all owners of property before whose
property sidewalks have been ordered laid and not yet laid that if the same are not lai
by April 1, 1913 the city will lay the same and charge the expense thereof to the prop
erty owners,
Monday March 31, 1313, is hereby designated as cleanup day, and the city
agrees to remove all refuse and rubbish that has been collected on that day, provided
the city be notified where the some may be found.
A. R. Gipson appeared and asked that the city assist him in having a cer-
tain irrigating ditch on South $imball Avenue fixed, and it was ordered that the strac
committee take the matter up with the Pioneer Irrigation District officials to the enc
that the streets of the city be protected and property owners rights be secured.
C. E. Soverign requested information as to what should be done toward beat
ifying the city hall grounds. Voted, on motion of Zeh, that the membere of the Park
committee in the third ward take the matter tip to the end that the grounds about the
city hall be beautified. Also the memberd of the Park committee from the first ward
Is instructed to look after Curtis park, and the member from the second ward is inetrt
ed to look after Mountainview park.
d. H. Altizer made objection to the condition of Twelfth avenue between
Chicago and Denver streets and asked that the same be fixed.
The cemetery committee asked permission to plow and seed a block of the
cemetery of about 5 or 6 acres, which was granted.
Voted, on motion of Zeh, that council adjourn.
