On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered presents Leo J. Mason, L. E.Burrell, Wm Glaisyer, John Were, Dale Fenrich and Bryan n arding. Mayor R. H. McNeill presiding. The Mayor and Council entered into a discussion of a program for hospitalization and insurance benefits for city employees. Permission was granted to install gas vente with transits pipe as long as they conform to Fire Underwriters requirements. There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Fenrich, ®corded by Myers that Council adjourn. Motion carried. L?_ �i... City Clerk. Mayor. The Council met pursuant to Call and Acknowledgement of Notice in the following forms We, the undersigned Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the council chambers in the City Hall of Caldwell, Idaho, at the hour of 8:00 P, M., on the 22nd, day of 'arch, 1948, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Termination of lease with United States of America, discussion of hospitalization and insurance benefits for city employees and calling bids for feeding of prisoners, which object has been submitted to each of the undersigned in writing. WITNESS our signatures this 22nd, day of W;m•oh, 1948. \ I w o, Moved by Glaisyer, seconded by Were the Mayor be authorized to sign termination and release agreement with the United States of America, acting through the Public Housing Commission. on Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. Moved by Burrell, seconded by Glaisyer that the Chief of Police be authorized to sail for sealed bids from restaurant operators for the feeding of City Prisoners, bids to be opened April 5th, 1948, On Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. Moved by '"aeon, seconded by Glaisyer that the Mayor and Council accept the recommendations of the Chief of Police for the placement of stop signs on both sides of Linden Street and Indiana Avenue and that a "School Zone" sign be placed on Indiana Avenue approximately 100 yards west of the position where that Avenue intersects Linden Street. A "Yea' and "Nay" vote was had thereon with the following results "Yea "s Mason, Burrell, Glaisyer, Were and Fenrich. "Nay "% Harding. Absent and not voting: None* Thereupon the Mayor declard the motion carried. Moved by Myers, seconded by Mason that the following bills be authorized for payment as soon as the gravel bill due the City by Tom McCorkle Construction Co., is settled: Tom McCorkle Construction Co., 8 4,5611.57 J.
