Council Chamber, City of Caldwell, Idaho, March 15th., 1915.
.Council meet in special session pursuant to call issued by the acting Mayor,
with W. E. Parker, President of the Council presiding, Councilmen Ackley, Adams,
Harrington and Steunenberg present, S. Ben Dunlap, Clerk, when the following business
was transacted:
The call for the meeting was read as follows:
Caldwell, Idaho, March 15th., 1915.
To the Members of the City Council of the
City of Caldwell, Idaho.
Notice is hereby given to each of you that pursuant to the
power in me vested I have called a special meeting of the City
Council to be held in the Council chamber of the said City on the
evening of March 15th., 1915, at 700 o'clock, for the purpose of
considering the feasibility of extending the water works system
to Mountain View Addition to the City of Caldwell, Idaho.

Councilman Harrington reported for the committee appointed to investigate the
proposition of extending the water works system to Mountain View Addition, stating
that the committee had made a through investigation of the matter and that they
recommended that the extension be made, provided that a sufficient number of property
owners -would contract to use the water in order to make the proposition a paying one.
He stated that the estimated cost of the extension was approximately $1,0oo.00

It was voted upon motion of Steunenberg that the report be adopted and that the
Superintendent of water works be authurixed and instructed to put in the extension,
provided that nine property owners along the proposed line of extension sign contracts
to use the city water.
