COUECIL OWZBERS VAIDWELL IDAHO. MARCH 7, 1921.
Council met in regular session with The following
Covnoilmeb were present ;Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Moore, Sutton, and Westoott
on motion by,DunIap seconded by Feuling and City Attorney. Attorney was
instructed to draft a resolution endorsing petition of E. L. Douglas at al
for the graveling etc, of 10th Street by next administration on motion by Dunlap
Seconded by Fouling, the City Clerk an City Engineer were instructed to investigate
the sprinkling assessment on South Kimball St.
Complaint being made that there were several offensive manure heaps in the
City and also that trees were not trimmed high enough. Same was referred to Chief
Police for action.
Petition J. D. Rowland for vacation of Streets referred to City .Attorney to
draft resolution.
The minutes of last regular meetings read and motioned by Dunlap, seconded
by Moore.'
Same were approved as read.
On motion by Feuling Seconded by Westoott the Building Inspector was
authorized to issue building permits for Gem State Lumber Company on the corner
of 6th and Authur.
Motion made by Weatcott, seconded by Dunlap that the Hodgson Building corner
8th and Kimball be designated as polling place for 2nd ward in the place of
Methodist Church.
The following bills against the city were presented and on motion by Westoott
seconded by Sutton same were allowed.

On motion made by Westoott Seconded by Sutton the bill of R. Farrar was tabled.
Motion by Dunlap, seconded by Fouling that the matter of compensation Insurance
be taken up by City Attorney.
Motion made by Westoott, Seconded by Feeling that the Clerk be instructed to call
for bids for Sewer District Nn.. 7.
Motion made by Dunlap, seconded by Westoott that the bill of City Against the
Pioneer Irrigation District be placed in hands of City Attorney for collection.
The City Clerk announces that this was the time set for receiving bids for the
construction of curbs etc; in District 6 and that several bide were on hand. Motion
made by Dunlap, seconded by Westoott that opening of bide be deferred to April
4th 1920.
This being the time set for hearing objections to assessment roll for Sewer
District No. S. and the Clerk announaing that no objections have been filed. The
following resolution was presented.
RESOLUTION.
Whereas the assessment roll of Local Lateral Sewerage Improvement District No. a
ti.
has been made by the sewer committee of the City Council and the City Engineer and was
filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Caldwell, State of Idaho, on the
� rd day of February, 1921, at 8 o'clock P. M. at the City Hall in Caldwell, Idaho,
was fixed by the City Council as the time and place for hearing and considering
objections to said assessments as made and shown on said assessment roll, and whereas

no obieotion or protest has been made.or filed to said assessment roll, and whereas the
time for hearing and considering the said objeoti5ns having arrived and expired and the
Said assessment roll having been fully and duly considered by the Mayor and Council,
of the City of Caldwell and having been found to be regular, valid, and correct, and fair,
and duet, and in compliance with the law in all particulars.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell
that the said assessment roll of the Local Lateral Sewerage Improvement District No. 8 be,
and the same is hereby approved and confirmed.
Motion made by Dunlap, Seconded by Sutton that said resolution be adopted. Ayes
Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Sutton and Westoott. Nayee None.
The Legian asked for permission to use the City Hall which was granted.
On motion Sutton Counoil A,ourned Monday 28th, 1921.

COUNCIL CHAMBERS CALDWELL IDAHO, MARCH 28, 1921.
Council met in regular session pursuant to ajournment with Mayor Ward presiding.
The following Council -men were present; Dunlap, Fouling, Hayman, Moore, Sutton and Westcott.
A ^delegation from Canyon Hill was present ^oomplaining of the condition of the bridge
across the government ditch, the matter was reperredtto the Street Committee.
Knapp and Krell ask for the permission to erect bulletin board at corner of 6th and
Main and on motion of Hayman seconded by Fouling same was disallowed.
The following bids for the construction No. 7, were read Le follows;

Motion made by Dunlap, seconded by Fouling that checks of J. H. Forbes Morrison,
and Knudson and Heineoke Construction Coppany be returned.
Motion by Dunlap that City Clerk and Sup't. of Water Works present bill for water
used by the Pid. to the City Attorney for collection.
Registers for the City Election were named as follows; lat. ward, Mrs. W. L. Wooly
End.ward, Mrs. L. F. MONill, 3rd. ward Lice. 0. R. Ackley.
