The claim of Dr. Bull for preparing yital statistics for the state, was re- ferred to the city attorney. Claim of J. J. Plowhead in the sum of x'150, for assisting the city attorney in the case of Jones ve City of Oaldwell was allowed on the keneral fund , on motion d: Adams, Bill No. 16, by Bardsley, entitled, - An-ordinance amending section 40 of No. 160, entitled, "An ordinance defining offenses against the peace and good order cf the City of Caldwell, and providing punishment`tberefor was read for the first tide , A motion was made by Adams that the rules be suspended and the readings on three separate days be dispensed with and the Bill No. 16 be read the second time by title and the third time in full and'plw ed on it a final passage. The roll being called on the motion, the vote resultede Ayes- Adam, Adams, Bardsley, Stunenberg, Walker, Zeh. -6. Nays and absent -0 So the notion prevailed, Bill No. 16 read second tim by title. Bill No. 16 Read third time in full and placed in its final passage. On the question, Shall bill No. 16 pass? the roll being called the vote resulted, Ayes- Adam, Adams, Bardsley, Stunenberg, Walker, Zeh. -6. Nays and absent -None. So Bill No. 16 passed, breoming Ordinance No. 210.
