COUNCIL CHAMBERS. MARCH 52H. 1926.
The Cou oil metin regular session, pursuant to adjournment at 8 P.M. starch dt &, 1926 with
Mayor - a1gy,presiding, Councilmen Conley, Dutton, Yimbrough,I4umford, McConnel, and Wheeler, pre-
sent.
A motion was made by Conley, seconded Mumford, that the report of the Committee of the 'Thole

Chambers, oll nail being taken showed the following present: Mayor. Kaley;Counoilmen, Conley,
Dutton, Kloibxough, Eumford, MoConnel, and 7[hkeler. A motion was made by Mumford, seconded by Dutton,
that the until favor the bid of Olaf "elsons for Portland Cement Concrete.The blayor caused the
roll t be called on the same, resulting as follows:

HAYES: MCC BNEL.
ABSENT: NC9E. It was then voJred on motion of Conley, seconded by Dutton, that the Committee of
the whole idjourn.1, be accepted and approved. The Mayor caused the Clerk to call the roll on the
same resul ing as follows:
AYES: CONLI , DUTTON, KI10ROUGH. NUMFORD, TrICCONNEL,AND ITEELER.
HAYES AND BSENT: NONE.
In the eneval discussion following the same Resolution No. 16 was presanted:
WHEREAS At the opening of bids for the 3.3 miles of paving within the City of Caldwell, being a
Federal Ai I project, the award was made to the lowest bidder and on bithulitic construction,. and,
WHEREAS the Council of the City of Caldwell. by majority vote, expressed a preference for the
lowest bid on Portland Cement Concrete construction to the Pahb3e Commissioner of Public Works,previ
ious to th announcement of the award,
NOW THMPORE, Bd It resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, that this City
refuse to onour in the award made by the Commissioner of Public Torks on that date, and that all
bide be re eoted. It motion was made by Mumford, seconded by '4hebler, that Resolution No. 16 be
adopted. Tie Mayor caused the Clerk to call the roll on the motion with the following result:
AYES: CONLf, , DUTTON, KILIBROUGH, UUTTCRI),AHD WHEELER.
NAYES: MCC NNEZ,
ABSENT: NOM. So the Mayor declared the motion had carried, and Resolution No. 16 adopted.

The Council met in regular session pursuant to sdjournment at 1 P.M. March 11th, 19 6
with Mayor Kaley presiding, Cou oilmen Conley, Dutton, Kimbrough, and Mumford, present, an
MoConnel and n. ooler, absent.
G.M.Stephens, representing John 7.PRice & Co. Investment Sankers, of Seattle, washin ton,
referred to the - delinquencies existing iri Local Imppovament Districts No.2,3,and 4. Tt was then
voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Oonley, that the City Attorney be authorized and directed
to dakeetigate'delinquencies in the above named districts and immsdiateljr start foraclosur pro-
ceedings against the same.
It was voted on motion of Kimbrough, asconded by Mumford, th ^t the Council adjour to
Lurch 17th, 1926 at noon.

It was voted on motion of Dutton, seconded by WheeIs that the Council adjourn to
1:30 P.M. March 19th, 1926.
