COUNCIL OHAMBERS, MARCH 3RD, 1924.
The Council met in regular session with STayor Smeed,presiding, Councilmen,Feuling, Tarmon,
Kimbrough, Rumford, Robb, & Wheeler, present.
Minutes of the previuos session were read and approved.

The following Resolution by Mumford was presented and upon motion of Kimbrough, asooried
by wheeler, the same was unamamously carried and admpted as follows to -wit:
Whereas, an application has been made to the Mayor and City Council of Caldwell,Idah , by
Mt.Mmriah Lodge No.39,A.F.& A.M. for the said Plity of Caldwell, to set aside for the Aisa of
said Lodge of Lots Four and Five of the City Cemetery, and,
Whereas, said Lots in said Block have heretofore by resolution been set asied and dedicated
for buriAA purposes of the members of fraternal organizations, and the price of said lots has
been established at Forty Dollars each,
Now,Therefors, be it resolved that the application of Mt.Moriah Lodge No.39.A.F.& M., for
the purchase of LotQ Four and Five of Block Fifty -Five, be accepted and the Mayor,and 0 y
Clerk be authorized and directed to execute a certificate of conveyance of said Lots Four and
Five in Block Fifty -°'ive of the City Cemetery upon receipt of the purchase price Lin oo rmity
with Ordinanoe No.211 of the City of Caldwell.
Bills Noll and 12 by RobbD and Harmon respectively, were read for the first time as llows:

WHICH DAIRIES SHALL BE OPERATED: PROVIDING FOR THE TESTING OF DAIRY PRODUCTS AND THE EXAAINATION
OF ALL COWS FOR TUBERCULOSIS: GRANTING TO THE MAYOR OF THE 'ITY OF CALDWELL JURISDICTIO11 OF
ALL PLACES WITHIN FIVE MIMES OF THE SAID CITY: AND FOR THE ENFORGEMENT OF ANY HEALTH OR
QUARANTINE ORDINANCE AND REGULATION THEREOF:AIID 11ILIMAN AND DAIRYMAN AFFLICTED WITH
COMMUNICABLE DISEASE TO REPORT TO INSPECTOR WITHIN TWENTY FOUR HOURS: MILK NOT TO BE 30 FROM
SHOPS OR ANY OTHER PLACE WHERE THERE (( EXISTS PITY CONTAGIOUS DISEASE: AND REGULATING THE
STANDARBS AIM SALE OF ICE, ORESGd, PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FORTHE VIOLATMON OF THIS ORDINA CE AND
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINAITOES OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL WHOSE TE WS AND OND7TIOKS
ARE IN CONFLICT HKRFWITH, AND CREATING THE OFFICE OF DAIRY INSPECTOR.
This being the time set to Apen bide, as per the advertigement, for the Construotio i, and
enlargement of the eater System, it was voted on motion of Feuling, seconded by Robb, thtt the City
Clerk be authorized to open the same, which were as follows:

It was then voted on motion of Kimbrough, seconded by Wheeler, that the bide be referr d toe
Committee of two to report back at the ne::t meeting. The Mayor appointed a Committee of suling
and Iftmford.
It well voted on motion of Harmon, seconded by Mumferd, that Robb,Wheeler, and 4he City Engineer
be named a a a Committee to get Data for using Water Power for Electricity.
It was voted on motion of Feuling, seconded by Robb, that the bills as approved, be Lllowed
and warm nts drawn on the variuos funds as follows:

Fouling and Mumford of thi Commiittee on letting the Construction of the hater Works
reported that to•their - nowledge, the bid oe %rtenbower Bros for the same was the bes
it was voted on motion of Fouling, seconded by Harmon, that the Contract for Constructi
Installing the B7 ater Works System be awarded to Hartenbower Bros. for the sum of $2096.
It was voted on motion of Harmon, seoonded by Reuling, that UP Council adjourn to
1924 at 8 P.M.
