The Cou oil metin regular session, pursuant to adjournment st 8 P.M. March 5b6, 1926 with Mayor - a2gy,presiding, Councilmen Conley, Dutton, Kimbrough,ldumford, McConnel, and Wheeler, pre- sent. A motion was made by Conley, seconded Mumford, that the report of the Committee of the 'Nhole i n which is as follows to -wit : Boise, Idaho, March 3rd, 1926 4P.M., House of Repreeentatives Chambers, oll osll being taken showed the following present: Mayor, Kal ey;Couneilmen, Conley, ]Xtton, 7 KInbroug,i, Ilumford, MoConnel, and Wbbeler. A motion was made by Mumford, seconded by Dutton, that the Council furor the bid of Olaf "elsons for Portland Cement Conorete.The Mayor caused the roll to be called on the same, resulting as follows: AtBB;CO , DUTTON, KIMBROUGH, MUMFORD, AND WHEELER, NAYES: MCC D013L. I ' ABSENT- N 3. It was then voted on motion of Conley, seconded by Dutton, that the Committee of the whole djourn,, be accepted and approved. The Mayor caused the Clerk to call the roll on the same resul ing as follows: AYES: COV13Y, DUTTON, KIMBROUGH, MUMFORD, 11CCOHNEL,AND 71HMnWR. NAYES AND BMT: NONE. In the enseal discussion following the same Resolution No. 16 was presented: WHEREAS At the opening of bids for the 3.3 miles of paving within the City of Caldwell, being a Federal All project, the sward was made to the lowest bidder and on bithulitie construction„ and, WHEREAS the Council of the City of Caldwell, by majority vote, expressed a preference for the lowest bid on Portland Cement Concrete construction to the P% bb3e Commissioner of Public Worke,prev& I sous to th announcement of the asard, NOW TH PORE, B It resolved by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, that this City refuse to onour in the award made by the Commissioner of Public Works on that date, and that all bids be rejected. Et motion •waa made by Mumford, seconded by ?- heeler, that Resolution No. 16 be adopted. Tie Mayor caused the Clerk to call the roll on the motion with the following result: AYES: CONL , DUTTON, KIMBROUGH, MU120RD,AND WHEELER. NAYES: MCC NNEL, ABSENT: NOTE. So the Mayor declared the motion had carried, and Resolution No. 16 adopted.
