Council met in regular session pursuant to adjournment with
H H Hayman President of the Council presiding, the following councilmen
were present;
Dickens, Dunlap, Fouling Moore and Sutton.
Dr Myers again asked to have the curve in the street oar line ate
oor 10th. and Cleveland changed and on motion Sutton seconded by Dickens
same was referred to City Attorney to investigate and report °on the power
of the City to change the curb line.
A delegation consisting of Mass Poynter, Sandmyer,'Clambey e'lL al
protesting to the emptying of the proposed sewer in the Drain Ditch as this
was not the time se$ for protests no action was taken at this time.
Bids for the construction for the municipal barn and water Works
building were opened at this time as follows;
J H MoNeil bid $10268.00
C E 811baugh and Co $10734.00
On motion Dunlap seconded by Dickens the bids were taken under
advisement till neat meeting.
On motion Fouling seconded by Moore the salary of C D Crandall
was raised to $116.00 per month.
Motion Dunlap seconded by Sutton the City Attorney was instructed
to prepare an ordinance increasing the number of paid Firemen to three men
besides the Chief.
The city clerk was instructed to write a letter of condolence to
MrsDeLain. and oolleotion was taken in Council romm}¢ to which the Council
and city employees contributed for suitable floral offering for the funeral
of Olaf DeLsin.
There being no further business motion Sutton Council adJourned.
