Council met in adjourned session pursuant to adjournment wito the
following Councilmen present: Bollman, Dickens, Gordon, Johns, Leighty
en, eandmeyer. Absent; Mayor MoConnel. Due to the absence of the Mayor,
Councilmen 8andmeyer, as President of the Counoil,prssided,
Owing to the abeenas of the City Clerk the President ,of -the Council
appointed Mr. W. 0. Dyer, Acting Clerk, and announced that t}a Council was in
• session for the consideration of any business which might lawfully come
before it.

remarks in regards to ditches on 9th and Dearborn 8treete. Thu President of
the Council appointed Chairman of Irrigation Committee with City Engineer
to investigate and report back to Council,
This being the time set for consideration of objections to the
assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 14. for the City of Caldwell,
Idaho, the Clerk presented to the i unoil the Affidavit of Publication of
• the "Notice of Receipt of Assessment Roll of Local Improvement District No.
14, for the City of Caldwell, Idaho, by the City Clerk, and of the time iffor
Filing Protests to such Assessment Roll, and of the Time set for Hearing
Protests by the Council," which affidavit was and is in words mad figures as
follows, to -wit:

News - Tribune, a semi- weekly newspaper published at Caldwell. Idaho; that the

Thereupon it was moved by Bollman and Seconded by Lei hty that said
Affidavit of Publication of *Notice of Receipt of Assessment Roll, eta.." inolud-
ing the printed copy of said notice attached thereto, be inserted as a part of
the minutes of this meeting. Motion carried.
Whereupon the following order was made and en4ered by unanimous
action of the Counoil:

=ROVEMT DSITRICT NO, 14, FOR TEE CITY OF CA PPEL8, IDAHO.

IT APPEARING to the Council that the assessment roll of Local
improvement District No. 14, for the City of Caldwell, Idaho, has been certified
to the Council by the Committee an streets and the City Engineer of the City
of Caldwell, and was Piled in the .office of the City Clerk of said city, on the
2nd day of February, 1981, and is now on file in esiq office; and
IT AFF7SARING that the 18th deg of February. 1931,z-At 8 :00 o'clock p.mv
at the City Hall in said city, was fixed by the Council for hearing and

IT FURTHER AIMRINO, that the time for filing protests beving expired,
aid the time for hearing and considering the same having arrived, and no protests
having been filed, and, said sapesement poll having been fully and duly considered
by the Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, and having been found 2aga1, valid
ow root, fair and just, and in compliance with the laws of the State of Idaho, and
the ordinances of the City of Caldwell, is all particulars; now, it is hereby
oRhERED, by the Mayor and Ccanoil of the City of Caldwell, Idaho-.
Section 1. That the assessment roll of Local Improvement District Pao#

Treasurer for collection and that due notice of the time, place and manner,of making

Caldwell.
It was moved by Johns and seconded by Leighty that the Council adjourn.
Motion carried.
