Grand total of all warrants drawn amounts to 89475.35.
The matter of granting a permit to 0. A. Dilley to erect a service station
on Block 43, Original Townslte was discussed at some length. The City Attorney was
instructed to draw anordinance permitting such service station to be erected. The said
station to be built under the supervision of the City Engineer, and to be situated at a
distance of not lees than 30 Peet from the road line.
The Clerk presented a letter from the Forward Club asking that the present
Swimming Pool Board of Control be approved for the year ending February 1, 1930, being
as follows;
Mrs. A. E. Laughlin, Mrs. .9. C. Feeley, J. H. Lowell,
Fred H. VoOonnel, W. D. Mumford, H. W. Groesbeck,
It was voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Hoffman, that the request be
granted and the Board approved.

It was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by Davis, that the appointment of
Registrars be confirmed.
It was voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Hoffman, that Council adjourn
February 18,1929, at 8:00, P: M.

Oouncil met in regular session persuant to adjournment r abra.gry 4, 1929, with
mayor Bunlap presiding and uounoilmen DAVIS, DUTTON, HOFIMAN, MCCONNEL AND MUMFORD,
PRESENT. ABSENT: JACKSON.
It was voted on motion of iaumford, seconded by joffman, that the Sprinkling
Tax aasessend against Sarl Seal on 'Tax 3, Block 2, Ualloway's Addition for the years of
1927 and 1928 be cancelled and the same taken off the sprinkling roll.
It was voted on motioal of - ioOonnel, seconded by Hoffman, that all 'Sprinkling
Taxes assessed against the 40 acre tract of land opposite the vollega Uampue on the
Northeast, :vhioh the vollege of Idaho is acquiring title.
It was voted on motion of =mford, seconded by Davie, that the {city Clerk bpr
instructed to issue to tlontie B. Gwinn a Cemetery Deed covering Lots 79 and 80, Block
54, Caldwell Oemetery, and receive in lieu thereof, luitcleim Deed from the said Montle
B. Gwinn to the ®ity of Caldwell, Idaho, covering Lots 1 and 28, block 4, Caldwell
Cemetery, consideration 020.00, and Uash $100.'00, and with the durther understanding that
the burials now on Lots 1 aid 28, Block 4, be removed.
It was voted on motion of MaConnel, seconded by Davis, that the attorney be
instructed to draw a Resolution of Intentions to create a Street Lighting District in
the Business section of the city.
