CO -INCIL CHAMBERS, FEBRUARY 16th, 1948, The Council met pursuant to Call and Acknowledgement of- Notice in the Following farm: Wa the undersigned , Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, do each hereby acknowledge notice of a special meeting of said City Council to be held at the council chambers in the City Hall of Caldwell, Idaho at the hour of Br00 P. M., on the 16th, day of February, 1948, for the transaction of all business in connection with the following object: Installation of additional street lights and application for Beer License, which object has been submitted to each of the undersigned in i writing. A map showing the location of the proposed lights was studied. Thereupon it was moved by Mason, seconded by Burrell that the proposed street lights be installed. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. Application for Beer License was read from Donald Green, the fee accompanying the application, Moved by Glaisyer, seconded by Fenrich that this License be granted. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. General salary increase was discussed, also, a sample plan for hospital and insurance benefits was studied and discussed. Definite action was put off until a future meeting. There being no further business to carne before the Council it was moved by Councilman Were, seconded by Councilman Fenrich that Council adjourn. Motion carried. City Clerk. r— Mayor. COUNCIL CHAMBERS, MARCH 1, 1948, 8100 P. M. The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the City Hall, with the Mayor R. H. McNeill presiding. On Roll Call the following tozncilmen answered presentt Leo J. Mason, Wm Glaisyer, L. Be Burrell, John Myers, Dale Fenrich and Bryan ftarding. Application for Liquor License was read from Donald.Oreen, the fee accompanying the application. Moved by Harding, secmded by Myers that this License be granted. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried• Moved by narding, seconded by Mason that the Police Department be allowed 440.00 per month for counting parking meter money, said money to be used in securing equipment and components for loading amunition or other equipment to the benefit of the Police Department, w be effective February lot. Upon Roll Call it appeared the motion was unanimously carried. The Bills for February were read and on motion by Mason, seconded by Myers that these Bills be allowed and warrants ordered drawn for the various amounts all of which had been approved by the Finance Committee.
