H.D.Blatohley presented n petition from the residents of College Heghts asking for graveled streets and street lights, on motion of Dunlap seooned by Fuel- ing the matter was referred to Street Committee and City Engineer for investigation and report. Minutes of last meeting were read and on motion of Faeling seconded by Weeoott were approved as read. Petition of Dr. Dora Weymout# at al; praying that ditch in alley Block 16 Dorman Addition be oomdemed. The matter was referred to Street Committee and City Angineer for investigation and report. Mrs. Selina Flemmons was presemt and protested against sidewalk tax. No action in the matter was taken. - yr. Nichter asked tkst to have alley filled on 6th. Ave. between Arthur and Blain. This was referred to Water dommittee. J.H.Berry complained of cesspool near the W.A.Hall home on College geigkas the matter was referred. to Chief of rolioe for investigation and, report. Street Committee and City City Enginnesr recomended that the following changes be made in the Platt of the Stuenenberg Acreage. Close *rant Street from inpsresotton of Colorado Street east to the Interurban Line, and widen Montanna Ave. from point where same intersects j section line thruogh section 27 to make 60ft. etrest. A motion was made by Dunlap seconded by Hayman that the Platt of Stennenberg Acreage be accepted with corrections as noted. Carried. Platt of +iew Home Addition was accepted on motion of Dutton and seconded by Sutton. On motion of Moore leoonded by Sutton the platt of block 64 and 66 of the cemetery were accepted. City Attorney was authorized to prepare contract with Oregon Shott Line for a flat rate for water at 970.00 per month, for 2 years. On motion of Dunlap seconded by Sutton City Engineer was instructed to run grades and get estimates for curbing in District #b. On motion of Dunlap seconded by Fueling the City Clerk was instructed to notify the Pioneer Irrigation Co. taht the city is preparing a call for bide for curb- ing in District #5 and the Pioneer Irrigation Co. be ordered to prepare for ditches in said district. $ Motion by Wescott seconded by 9 11 Moore that action on the petition of Frost et al be deferred till the next meeting. Carried. Ordinance AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINACE # , entitled" AN ORDINACE AMENDEDING ORDINANCE NO.103ENTITLED " AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF THE CITY CnETARY AND THE CONVEYANCE OF LJTS THEREIN. Motion by Dunlap seconded by Sutton that rules requiring the reading of an ordinance on three soperate dates be suspended and that the ordinance be read the seeind time by title and the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The clerk thereupon read the Ordinance the second time by title anddths third time.in full and the Mayor announced that the 0rdinace stood for final passage,the vote the question-was as follows. Ayes; Dnnlap,Feuling,Hsy=a,Moore Sutton and Wescott. Hayes. sons. The Mayor announced that the motion had oarivtdd by more than the necessary three fourths and the city clerk make proper entry and cause same to be published in the Caldwell News the official newspaper of the City of Caldwell. Idaho. Motion by Hayman seconded by Sutton that the salary of Street Commissioner be fixed at $150.00 per month. Carried. The following bills against the city were presented and on motion of Sutton seconded by Hayman same were allowed with the exception of one by Eoyama and tbht was referred to the Water Committee.
