The Roll of the City Council was called with the following members present: Oates (via phone), Callsen,
Dakan (via phone), and Sobba. Those absent: Hopper and Blacker.
(APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 35 -09 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF LAND
ACQUISITION IN REGARDS TO THE DOWNTOWN CATALYST PROJECT)
Chris Yamamoto, Catalyst Project Coordinator, 411 Blaine Street, acknowledged the contract being
signed by Bettie Pilote and ready for execution by Council.
The Mayor read Resolution No. 35 -09 by title only
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CALDWELL, IDAHO, AN IDAHO
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, ADOPTING THE REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AND SALE
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND BETTIE B. PILOTE; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE DUPLICATE ORIGINALS; AUTHORIZING EFFECTIVENESS OF THE REAL
ESTATE PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THIS RESOLUTION
TO BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE AND APPROVAL.
MOVED by Callsen, SECONDED by Dakan to approve Resolution No. 35 -09 as presented.
Roll call vote. Those voting yes: Callsen, Dakan, Sobba, and Oates. Those voting no: none. Absent
and /or not voting: Blacker and Hopper.

(APPROVE RESOLUTION NO. 36 -09 AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE FAA GRANT
APPLICATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF AWARD FOR UPDATING THE EXISTING AIRPORT
MASTER PLAN)
Larry Osgood, 621 Cleveland Blvd., presented the staff report concerning the request to approve the
FAA grant application and acceptance of award concerning the updated Airport Master Plan.
Councilman Oates concurred with the necessity of the request.
MOVED by Callsen, SECONDED by Sobba to approve Resolution No. 35 -09 as presented.
Roll call vote. Those voting yes: Callsen, Dakan, Sobba, and Oates. Those voting no: none. Absent
and /or not voting: Blacker and Hopper.
