Council met in regular session with Mayor Griffiths presiding, and Councilmen
E. H. Adam, R. Q. Adams, John L. Bardeley, John Otunenberg, Thos, E. Walker,
H. J. Zeh, president, C. J. Shorb Clerk, wleri the following business was trana-
acted=
Minutes oP the regual meetings held in January were read and approved.

Report of treasurer was read and on motion of Adam, approved and ordered filed.
The .report of the marshal was read and -on u,otion of Zeh, approved and
ordered filed.
The .report of the city clerk was read and, on motion of Walker, approved
and ordered filed.
The report of the police fudge was read and, on motion of Adams, approved
eud ordered filed.
The report of the superintendent of water works was read and on motion

The report of the city engineer was rca d and-, on. motion of Bardeley, ap-
proved and ordered filed.
The pity engineers report on the grade around the high school was re-
ferred to the street committee.
The report of the Beaton was read and referred +.o the cemetery committee
for investigation and recommendation,
The report of the street commissioner was read and,-on motion of Stunenberg
approved and ordered filed.
The following claims were read and,=on motion of Walker, allowed,•and
warrants were ordered drawn on the several funds as follower

motion of Walker, reffered to the finance committee.

Voted on motion of Adam that the claim of R. H. Compton in the sum of
for electrical supplies be allowed on the general fund.
Voted on motion of Walker, that the claim of H. G. Ba1►b in the sum of
for overcharge on sprinkling assessment, be disallowed.
The report of the librarian was read, and on motion of Adam, approved
and ordered filed.
One bid was received on bay and grain and, on motion of Zeh the council
proceeded to open same. The bid was from Edward Redden and for first cutting
of alfalfa and the price was 66.00 per ton in stack. Voted, on motion of. Zeh,
that the bid be reffered to the street committee.
