The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Rooms of the City Hall, with 19 r the mayor Jason C. Smith presiding. After a thorough discussion of this matter, it was the unanimous vote of those present, that the City of Caldwell reject any program of meter ad- vertising. The Caldwell Business Men's Association sincerely hopes that this expression of their feelings toward this program will be helpful to you in deciding on this matter. RESOLUTION BY COUNCILVAN BURRELL. Upon motion by Burrell, seconded by Blomquist the following Resolution was proposeds WHEREAS, Wm Henry Gainey Sr., had been employed by the City of Caldwell for over twenty -seven years, and WHEREAS, Mr. Gainey passed away January 26, 1952. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that as a special allowance the Sexton <,f Canyon Hill Cemetery be authorized to cancel the grave fees and perpetual care charges on the burial of Wm Henry, Gainey Sr., Upon Roll Call those voting in the affirm&ti." The Mayor informed the Council this was the time as+ by notice for the Mayor and Houncil to meet as a 13oard of Correction to review and correct assessments of the Caldwell Municipal Irrigation System. There was no one present for or against. The City Engineer informed the L€ayor and P,ouncil the estimate of roat and checking of descriptions for the proposed Canyon Hill sewer had not been completed.
