There being no further business to come before the Council,'it was, on motion duly seconded and carried, declared adjourned. to meet Fehruar 7th., Mayor CityvCler COUNCIL CfLUMER$, FEBRUARY 4th., 1935, SiOYYll The Regular Monthly Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room of the City Hall, with the Mayor, Emery L. Vassar, presiding. On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Edgar L. Oakes, F. D. Mumford, G. W. Montgomery, G. M. Fenrich and W. R. Hollingsworth. Absent: W. S. Boynton. The minutes for January 7th, 8th, 21st., 29th, were read and approved as read s _ with a few corrections. Mr. Wagoner appeared before the Council and stated that he wished to sell the garbage contract to Mr. Bunt. The Mayor informed Mr. Wagoner that Mr. Bunt would have to appear before the Council at the next regular meeting before the contract could be trans - fered. Mr. J. H. McNeal appeared and asked that a new bridge be constructed across Indian Creek at 11th and Arthur. Moved by Oakes, seconded by Mumford that the City Engineer and the Road Com- mittee investigate this matter. Motion carried. The City Clerk read an Affidavit of Publication. The Mayor informed the Council that Mr. of Ontario, Oregon, wished to borrow the .city crusher; The City attorney in °ormed the Mayor and City Council that it was out of the jurisdiction of the city. Moved by ° Montgomery, seconded by Hollingsworth that this request be rejected. Motion carried. The Committee reported to the Council that arrangements had been made for the removal of the McWilliams corral. The Bills for January were read and on Motion made by Mumford, seconded by Montgomery that these bills be allowed and Warrants be ordered drawn for the various amounts all of which had been approved by the Chairman of the Finance Committee.
