Council met in regular session with Mayor Dunlap presiding and Councilmen
DAVIS, DUTTON, HOFFMAN, JACKSON, MCCONNEL AND MUMFORD, PRESENT. ABSENT: 1701M,
Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
It was Qoted on motion of McOonnel, seconded by Jackson, that the application
Of G. S. Ideqd for 2 001 Hall license be allowed, and that the Ulerk be instructed to
issue same.
It was noted on motion of Hoffman, seconded by Jackson, that the bills as
approved be allowed and warrants be ordered drawn on the various funds to -wit:

Grand total of all warrants drawn amounts to $9476.35.
The matter of granting a permit to 0. A. Dilley to erect a service station
on 31ook 43, Original Townsite was discussed at some length. The 3ity Attorney was
instructed to draw snordinance permitting such service station to be erected. The said
station to be built under the supervision of the City Engineer, and to be situated at 6
distance of not lass than 30 feet from the road line.
The Clerk presented a letter from the Forward Club asking that the present
Swimming Pool Board of Control be approved for the year ending February 1, 1930, being
as follows;

Fred H. 4Io®onnel, N 1 . D. Mumford, H. W. Groesbeck,
It was voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Hoffman, that the request be
granted and the Board approved.

It was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by Davis, that the appointment of

It was voted on motion of Jackson, seconded by Hoffman, that Council adjourn
February 18,1929, at 8 :00, P hi.

Council met in regudAr session persuant to adjournment r- abrugry 4, 1929, with
bieyor Dunlap presiding and counoilmen _uAVIS, DUTTON, 90F1IMAN, MCCONNEL AND MUMFORD,
PRESENT. ABSENT: JACKSON.
It was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by doffmsn, that the Sprinkling
Pax assessend against Earl Deal on Pax 3, alook 2, Walloway'e Addition for the years of
1927 and 1928 be cancelled and the same taken off the sprinkling roll.
It was voted on motioq) of 1v- 1oConnel, seconded by7 Hoffman, that all Sprinkling
Taxes assessed against the 40 acre tract of land opposite the Vollege Uampus on the
Northeast, which the eollege of Idaho is acquiring title.
it was voted on motion of Mumford, seconded by imvia, that the Uity ®lark bpr
instructed to issue to blontie B. Gwinn a Cemetery deed covering Lots 79 and 80, Block
54, Caldwell Gemetery, and receive in lieu thereof, Quitclaim ]Seed from the said Montie
B. Gwinn to the 9ity of Caldwell, Idaho, covering Lots 1 and 28, tslook 4, Caldwell
Cemetery, consideration 020.00, and Cash 100:00, and with the further understanding that
the burials now on Lots 1 aid 28, Block 4, be removed.
It was voted on motion of MoOonnel, seconded by lavis, that the attorney be
instructed to draw a Eesolution of Intentions to create a Street Lighting District in
the Business section of the city.
