A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE MATERIAL AND HIRING THE LABOR NBOESSARY FOR HAVING THE WORK DONE BY THE CITY OF CALDWJW IN THE AONBTWO- TION or THE IMPROVMBANT IN LOCAL IMPROTUMT DISTRRICT 10. 14, WITHOUT THE LETTING OF ANY 0ONTRAOT THEREFOR AND WITHOUT FURTHER CALLING YOH BIDS. That the City of Caldwell purchase the material and hire the labor necessary for having the work done in.Locel Improvement No. 14� in aocordanoo with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Engineer without the letting of any contract therefor and without further oallii�ng for bids. That each material, except sand and gravel for the construction of manholes, be purchased from Caldwell Concrete Pipe Company and that Gabbey & McNeil be and they hereby are hired to do the work for the construction of such improvement, the whole not -to exceed the, sum of 06226.00 Sep, 3. -- VAIL sa }& Gabbey &MoNeil be required to furnish s bond to the I City of Caldwell in the penal sum of $8000.00 to guarantee the completion of each work in accordance to the provisions of this resolution. The motion for the adoption of said resolution was duly seoonded by Gordon.
