The Council met in regular session,pureuant to adjournment, January 31st, 1927,
at 8 P.M. , with Mayor Kaloy, presiding, Councilmen, Conley, Dutton, I;lumford, Ircuonnel,
and gh" Ier, present, and Limbrough, absent.
Walter Driffithe appeared before the Council and outlined the plans of the people
he represents, 0e6erg4pg concerning the occupying by Frank Compton of the building
located on Lots 1 -7 , both inclusive in Block 75, Original `s`ownsite, for car storage.
He informed the Mayor and Council that he would place concrete under the 'gprights,
repair the floor, the rear and front, the roof where needed, and and two gutters,
which would a ::tend to the a11ey.Mr. Compton stated his plan regarding the ,ee of
the.sama for a storage p&soe of business. It was then voted on motion of Wheeler,
s000nded.by Conley, that a permit be granted to Prank uomptcn for fifteen(15j months
for the use of the building situated on Lots 1 -7, both inclusive, Block 75, Original
ToWneite - for storing oars, provided provided that the aforesied repairs are made, and
provided further that the transfer of the business, in case there was suoZ1, sgould have
the sanction of the Mayor and Council. +
It was voted 'on motion of Wheeler, seconded by Dun hat Council adjourn.
