Page 30 The roll of the City Council was called with the following members present: McCluskey, Olesen, Williams, Raymond, Banks, and Bauman. Absent: none. (BID OPENING FOR SALE OF HOUSES AT NEW AIRPORT SITE) The Mayor stated that the reason for this Special Meeting being called was to open the bids received for the purchase of the houses being sold at the new airport site. As a matter of information, the Mayor said that the pump would not go with house No. 7 as the well at this house would furnish the water for the house where the terminal will be. Also, if the metal building No. 9 was sold, possession could not be until the 1st of March. It was also explained that the bids would be taken under advisement and the unsuccessful bidders would receive their checks back in the morning. The bids were then opened by the Mayor and each one read. MOVED by McCluskey, SECONDED by Olesen to accept the high bids on the houses except for Number 6 and Number 9 and return the checks to the unsuccessful bidders.
