ment. There %fit being a quorum present, Council adjourned until Monday evening, January
31, 1910, at 7130 o'clock.

The following resotlution was introduced by Clark%
Resolved, That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have published in the
Caldwell Tribune for four consecutive issues, the following notice:
NOTICE OF SALE OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENT SEWERAGE IMPROVEMF?IT BONDS DISTRICT NO.3, CITY
OF CALM-LL, IDAHO.
Notice is hereby given by the Mayor and City Council of +rye Cbty of Caldwell
Idaho, that the said Mayor and Council int..3nd to issue, negotiate and sell the negoti-
able Special Assessment Sewerage Improvement coi bonds District DTo.3, of said
city to the amount of 4p-60,000.00 for the purpose of paying the cost and expense of the
improvement in "Local Sewerage Improvement District No.3," o° the City, of Caldwel�� e
provided in Ordinance No. 136 of said City. Said bonds are to be issued in denomina-
tions of $1,000.00 each, and will bear interest at the rate of six per °cent far annum,
said interest to be paid on the firot days of January and July of each year, at the
office of the City Treasurer of the City of Caldwell, or at the Chase National Bank of
New York City, State of New York, at the option of the holder of the interest coupons.
The principal of said bonds is to be paid at the office of 'A e City Treasurer at Cald-
well, Idaho, Said bonds shall be payable ten years from date, redeemable in their
numerical order, one -fifth or the total amount of said bonds shall be paid six years
after date, one -fifth seven years after date, ono -fifth eight years after date, one -
fifth nine years after date, and one -fifth and last installment at maturity thereof.
Both principal and interest of..sai;d bonds will be payable in United States gold coin.
The bids for the purchase of said bonds must be sealed a addressed to the
Mayor and Council of the City of Caldwell, Idaho, and filed with the City
Bids will be received until 12 o'clock, noon, on Monday, February ?A, 1910. Said bids
will be opens,) by the Mayor and Council of said City on February 28, 1910, at 7130 p.m.
at the City Hall, Caldwell, Idaho. Said b6ridswill '•ot be sold for leas than face, and
accrued interest at the time of delivor�i and no bid will be c oneVered which specifies
s higLer rate of interest than six_ Per cent Lr annum. Fact, Yid must be accompanied
by a certified check to the amount of five per cent of the amount bid, payhbls to the
City of Caldwell, Idaho. Said bide may be for the whole amount of the bonds to be IBM
or for a pot•tion thereof at the option of the bidder and the City reserves the right
to reject any or all bids and to make allotments of the bonus that shall be deemed for
the best interests of the city. Ti•e issue or the bonds herein specified is authorized
by the laws of the State of Iinho and the ordinances and resolutions of sail city.
