A Special Meeting of the City Council met in the Council Room with the Mayor,
N.R. Hollingsworth, presiding.
On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Edgar L. Oakes, F. D.
ArTord, W.E, Babcock, G. M. ?enrich and Norvil T. Hinds. Absent: W. H. Odle.
This Meeting was called to take up new and unfinished business.
/ Mr. Earl Armstrong appeared before the Colmcil and'-asked permission to move his
Lunch Stand across the alley on the Isenberg property. Permission was granted for 1 year.
Frank Roberts, John Myers and Clyde Cantrell asked the City to furnish tools for
bhe N. Y. A. Boys to clean up the Air -Port.

This matter was roferred to the City Engineer.
Mr. Odle entered and was marked present.
Applications for Card Room License were read from T, H. Waters, S.F. Bow,,Rummy
House and Pastime Lunch, the ,fee accompanying the application. /
Applications for Pool Hall License were read from 1.'H. Waters and S.F, Bow, r
the fee accompanying the application. -�
Moved by Oakes, seconded by Babcock that these Licenses be granted. Motion
Hcarried.
There being no further ebus ine ss to come before the Council it was moved by Hinds
seconded by Fenrich that Council adjourn to meet January 27th.,1939 at 8;00 P. M.'
Motion carried.

Pursuant. to adjournment of January 23rd,, the Council met in the Council Rocca of
the City H with the Mayor, W.R. Hollingsworth, presiding.
On Roll Call the following Councilmen answered present: Edgar L. Oakes, W. E.
Babcock, W. H. Odle and Norvil T. Hinds. Absent: F.D. Mumford.
Mr, R. H, McNeill, representing the purchaser of the Idaho Meat Producera_, ap-
peared before the Mayor and Council and asked that the water bill contracted by the Idaho
Meat Producers be cancelled. The Mayor informed Mr. McNeill if his Company would enter
into a ftV6 -7ear contract with the City for water the bill would be cancelled.
Mr. Fred Evans of the Pioneer Irrigation District appeared before the Council
and discussed the question of the position of the Pioneer Irrigation relative to the Mm--
:icipal Irrigation District.
Mr. Chas Laurenson, Secretary of the Chamber of Commerce appeared and requested
the Mayor and Council to grant a beer license to the Saratoga Club operated by Dick Graves
This matter was left on the table until the next Council Meeting.
There being no further business to come before the Council it was moved by Baboo
seconded by Odle that Council adjourn. Motion carried.

E.Gilgan appeared relative to the amount due her Bgrthe City for the
use of a vacant lot near the City Hall, the bill haretofor filed with the City Clerk.
