Mayor Griffiths, presiding, and Councilmen Adam, Adams, Bardeley, Steunenberg, Zeh, pre-
sent; Shorb, Clerk.
Bill No. 33, by Bardeley, entitled, "An Ordinance grant ft to the Idaho Light
and Power Co., a franchise to construct and maintain a railroad track for switching pur-
poses on and over a certain alley in the city of Caldwell, Idaho," was read the second
time, and was introduced as a new bill, by substituting the "Oregon Short Line Railroad
Co.," for the "Idaho Railway Light & Power Co.," and read the first time.
A motion was made by Zeh, that the rules be suspended and the readings on
three separate days be dispensed with, and Bill No. 33 read the second time by title and
the third time in full and placed on its final passage. The roll being called on the
motion the vote resultedt
Aye -Adam, Adair*, Bardaley, Steunenberg, Zeh.
Nays- None, Absent Harrington.
So the motion prevailed.

Nays- None. Absent Harrington.
So Bill No. 33 passed, becoming Ordinance No. 289.
Communication from Orel H. Soverign suggesting changes in and about the fire
hall, and the adoption of rules for the care of the hall, was read.
Voted, on motion of Zeh, that council adjourn until Saturday, February 1, 1913
at 5 o'clock p, rp. at the office of the Canyon Abstract & Trust Co.
